Episode 61, Raiders of the Lost Archive. 61 episodes after it’s creation we have unearthed the infamous General Chat podcast. This is the episode that was never to see the light of day, the one Chris thought had some ‘controversial moments’. Well, it’s been a year since we recorded it and like a fine wine it’s aged with grace and now it’s ready for consumption. This episode touches on pretty much everything that makes Better Than Average special. We discuss Jon Jones, cock fighting, Freddie Mercury, steroids in BJJ and our own experiences as white belts. Listening to episode 61 is like exploring a forgotten tomb. There are skeletons and there are relics of times past, most of it is utter garbage but some of it is pure gold. It’s official, BTA pod is sixty. Naturally we are starting to sounds like a couple sixty year olds now. Chris moans about his aching legs, Jay gets vocal about self defence Jiujitsu and we get all nostalgic looking back at some of the iconic movies making a comeback. It’s episode 58 and we join the boys early on school day. There little time to waste so let’s get after it! We talk Paul vs Tyson, Ngannou vs Joshua and Saint Denis vs Poirier.
