The last thing anyone wants to do is feel uncomfortable. We avoid it at any cost.
We do anything to move closer to happiness, even if it means that we never spend time looking at or dealing with what is making us uncomfortable.
We feel pressured to be happy.
If we're not happy, other people might feel uncomfortable or worried.
If we're not happy, we may appear ungrateful for all the good things in life.
But what if we can have all the good things and still be ok with exploring the uncomfortable so we can change them too?
Check out this episode to hear more about creating more happiness by not giving in to the pressure of being happy.

Big girls don't cry…but maybe they should.
Very few of us are taught to freely cry whenever we feel emotional.
Instead, we're taught to stop crying, stuff it in, never let them see you cry.
That may have been necessary to get through life not so long ago, but we live in different times.
In these times we know a lot more about emotions, emotional wellbeing, and expressing ourselves in healthy ways.
It may be difficult to wrap your head around at first, but crying has actually been shown to support the release of pain.
Check out this episode for insights on why you might need to have a good cry.

You know what kind of awareness you need to have before breast cancer.
Check for lumps, discolorations, dimpled skin, inverted nipples, irregular discharge and do your regularly scheduled mammograms.
But what should you be aware of after breast cancer?
It's a whole new ball game with it's own set of fears, and challenges.
Of course, you still follow through with medical advice and supervision, but what about how you feel about yourself?
Are you aware of what stops you from connecting with others in the way you want, and what to do about it?
Are you aware that you don't have to feel alone, beat yourself up, fight your own body or sabotage your own health because food or alcohol are the only things that bring you joy?
Navigating the space after a breast cancer diagnosis and treatment takes some next level awareness to support you in creating the life you want and loving yourself in the way you deserve.
That's what we dig into in this week's show.

When something awful happens in life, it's hard to see the gift in it.
We even stop ourselves from seeing the good because it feels weird, or we feel guilty for saying something good came out of something bad.
The opposite is true too.
We have good news and don't want to embrace it because there's a coast involved.
But what if it didn't have to be one way or the other? What if we could give ourselves permission to accept the good and the bad in all things in life and not feel guilty or resist seeing the big picture?
In this episode you'll hear about seeing the wholeness in life experiences and being ok with the fact that most things are good and bad.
