Better Than Fight Club?

Folks, we're going back to school. Just in time for the end of the school year. We're discussing Spike Lee's sophomore effort, School Daze! Marvel as the director himself pledges a fictional fraternity full of a-holes and Lawrence Fishburne tries to save the world. Did we like it? Did we think it was better than Fight Club? Pay attention and you might just learn something...

It's Hollywood's biggest night! (Wednesday morning) Cameron & Matt are still wearing their tuxedos and recapping the Oscars for everyone and their mothers. The highs! The lows! The... overall awkwardness. 

And the film of the week is Satoshi Kon's film Millennium Actress! Anime on Better Than Fight Club! Who could believe such a thing?! Is it Better Than Fight Club?!!! I don't know!!!

All for one and one for all! Cam & Matt are now officially musketeers! What's that? The musketeers no longer exist? Well, shit. I guess we'll have to settle for just watching the 1993 adaption of Alexandre Dumas' classic work, "The Three Musketeers." Disney 90's Live Action returns to the podcast and this time they brought swashbuckling!

Bet it all on red this week folks, we're watching California Split. Two gambling addicts hang out with prostitutes for a few hours in this Robert Altman classic! Do the boys think this film is a jackpot or does the film go bust? Who knows! I've run out of poker words.

It's the ultimate showdown of ultimate destiny. Godzilla vs. King Kong. Two monsters enter. One monster leaves. Join us as we discuss the greatest cinematic face-off in recent memory that involves Hollow Earth theory and podcasts.

George Clooney visits Better Than Fight Club this week as we discuss the 2007 legal thriller "Michael Clayton." Tony Gilroy got fed up with just writing the movies and decided to direct a real banger. A few real powerhouse performances in this one, gang. 

Please note that my microphone sounds bad for the first 10-ish minutes of the episode because I was talking into the wrong side like a fool. A common fool.

Dateline 2021. Cam & Matt have just watched director David Lean's classic romance Brief Encounter. No, it's not quite as epic as Lawrence of Arabia or Doctor Zhivago, but I'll think you'll agree this one packs an emotional wallop. Now streaming on HBO Max and it might be better than Fight Club!
