They’re the first teachers of your life – they show you what’s right and wrong, they show you practical things, they give you things to remember, and other things. You might’ve done something normally deemed to be unforgivable, like it’s not worth forgetting, it’s not worth moving on from. Some people can’t ever forget the last worst thing they’ve done. And even if their victims have largely moved on, it still etched this permanent mental video in their eyes. Intrusive thoughts make them replay certain bad things they wish they’ve never done.

You can get your support from a group of people living with the same problems as you are – you’ve got cancer support groups, you’ve got support groups of other chronic and terminal illnesses. If you think of a problem right now, chances are there may be a support group for it, or maybe there’s just one other person experiencing a problem as you are now. Empathising can help.

Procrastination can hit you – it’s not just limited to people hiding away to a little corner in their respective rooms. It could hit an extrovert, the socialite, the active thinker, and others of any kind. And the effects can get worse, maybe even destructive, devastating, sort of borderline dark.

We often take sleep for granted. There’s a lot to do before it that sort of takes you and me away from that well deserved rest. It may not even be college work. You probably have, too. Insomnia.
