On episode 13 of Betting the Limit, Drew is joined by Jacob Turner. Jacob was drafted 9th overall in the 2009 MLB Draft and went on to play for the Detroit Tigers, Miami Marlins, Chicago Cubs, and Chicago White Sox. After retiring from baseball in 2019, Jacob decided to start a wealth management company, JL Strategic Wealth.

On episode 12 of Betting the Limit, Drew is joined by Adam Breneman. After a knee injury derailed his dreams of playing in the NFL, Adam has turned himself into a media star who is also the founder of one of the largest NIL companies in college football. This was a fun conversation that discusses his playing career, his rise in the media world, and how he was able to transition seamlessly from being an athlete into the next chapter of his life.

On episode 11 of Betting the Limit, Drew is joined by David Chernow. David is currently the President and CEO of Select Medical. David was set to play tennis at UCLA before a medical diagnosis rocked his world. He has found a way not only to overcome every challenge that has been thrown his way, but has grown stronger as a result of them. This conversation was great because it focuses on overcoming adversity, running a business while being a father, and sports.

On episode 10 of Betting the Limit, Drew is joined by John Hayes. John recently retired after serving as CEO for Ball Corporation for the last 11 years. John has also been involved with numerous professional sports franchises and charitable organizations. He started his professional career working in investment banking before transitioning to run to Ball, the world's largest manufacturer of recyclable metal beverage and food containers. This was a great conversation that discusses leadership, life as a CEO, and sports.

On episode 9 of Betting the Limit, Drew is joined by Tim Jenkins. After retiring from the NFL in 2013, Tim started a quarterback development program in Denver, Colorado. That program has now grown into the premier development program for young players of all positions across the United States. Tim’s program, Jenkins Elite, originally started by training a junior varsity quarterback and is now training some of the NFL’s biggest stars. This was a great conversation about the challenges of starting your own business, developing young athletes, and retiring from sports!

On episode 8 of Betting the Limit, Drew is joined by Woody Levin. Woody is currently the CEO and co-founder of Extend. After playing hockey at the University of Wisconsin, Woody received his law degree from the Chicago-Kent College of Law. Since graduating, Woody has founded and successfully exited five different companies. He also sits on the board of Draft Kings. This is a great conversation that discusses finance, life as a CEO, and sports.

On episode 7 of Betting the Limit, Drew is joined by JR Butler. JR is currently the CEO and Founder of Shift, a new company focused on helping retired athletes find new careers. JR played hockey at Holy Cross before working as the Chief Revenue Officer at Pillir. He has helped hundreds of athletes find jobs and understands the difficulty of retirement. JR has experienced tremendous success, but his journey along the way was far from easy. He was able to overcome addiction, and through his work ethic and perseverance, is now the CEO of his own company.

On episode 6 of Betting the Limit, Drew is joined by James Sixsmith and Matt Werry. James retired from professional hockey after 11 seasons and is now the CEO and Founder of Trade Context. The goal of Trade Context is to educate and fund day traders. Their platform can be used by traders with all different levels of experience and financial knowledge. This is a great conversation that revolves around the stock market, sports, and transitioning from the sports to the business world.

On episode 5 of Betting the Limit, Drew is joined by Noah Elliot. At the age of 15, Noah was faced with a tremendous amount of adversity that would have destroyed most people. Through his resilience, work ethic, and positive attitude, he was able to overcome every obstacle that was thrown in his path. He was even forced to change sports, but that didn’t stop him from becoming a gold medalist in the 2018 Winter Olympics. It is impossible to listen to his story without feeling inspired.

On episode 4 of Betting the Limit, Drew is joined by Andrew Petcash. Andrew is the founder of the Petcash Post, a sports business newsletter that is read by thousands daily. Andrew also is an advisor with a new tech app, Air, which is determined to help athletes get discovered from all over the world. I really enjoyed talking to Andrew about retiring from basketball after playing at Boston University and instantly finding success in his next venture.
