We had to postpone the interview with L.A. from Black Star Line Brewing due to car issues, but look forward to having her on at another time. We do have guests lined up for the next few shows and look forward to talking beer with them.
Between The Pints would again like to thank Andy for joining us this week.  We would also like to thank Hygge Coworking West for the use of the podcast studio.  Finally, thank you to Ryan Little for the use of his song kick.push as our opening and closing music.

  • Episode 11: Love Your Craft
Aaron and Ryan welcome in Travis Tolson from Amor Artis Brewing out of Fort Mill, SC. The show gets off to a rough start. Aaron and Ryan both had long weeks at their day jobs, but despite not being professionals make a great recovery for a really good conversation with Travis. This turns out to be one of our favorite interviews so far. Travis has such a deep love of brewing and the community he lives in that it comes through everything he says and does, especially the beer.

  • Episode 10: Taxes Are Bad and 750 lbs. of Beets
This week, Andy Maben discusses brewing the Lemon Balm and Beet Hoppy Wheat Ale that won gold for New Sarum Brewing at this past year’s Great American Beer Festival as well as his and his brewing team’s reaction to winning.  He also touches on the challenges of being a brewery that sits between 2 major population centers (Charlotte and the Triad).  Ryan and Aaron also sample some of Andy’s handy work and forget they are on the microphones.
