I was super excited to get to talk with Maya from her home studio. I had been following her work for a while now so it was a special episode for me. It's so nice to be able to be let into these artists "sacred" spaces. I am honored each time.

FINALLY! I've been wanting to chat with her foreve. Can't wait to actually sit with her for a bit, that's the hard part....getting her to SIT!! Molly doesn't stop! Her new studio in Atlanta is killing it and i'm so happy for her.

Adam was GREAT to touch base with! I met him years ago at NCECA and knew we had to chat. He is well known for his surface art and decoration. I'm looking forward to seeing him again.

Lily is another potter i've wanted to chat with for a long time! I swapped mugs with her YEARS ago. Her surface decoration and color use really resonates with me. She also makes really cool jewelry and ornaments!

I feel like i've made a new lifelong friend in Frank. What a nice conversation we had and we only scratched the surface.

I'm officially calling her my "sister"! I just love Autumn and all of her work, her forms are fantastic made better by her surface decoration. All of her stuff is just so good.

Man i've wanted to chat with her forever!! I'm so happy we finally found time to get together. What a joy this was.

Laura was so fun to talk to! She puts a whimsical touch into all of her work. Whether its a sculptural piece or a functional piece she makes wonderful stuff!
