What lens are you seeing your life through? What lens are you seeing your circumstances through? What lens are you seeing your finances through? Maybe it's time to see things differently.

Giving is an act of worship and gratitude, it is an acknowledgement that God is first in my life, it is truthfully an act of faith and trust in God’s provision.

Do you have someone or something in your life that tends to be a distraction? Someone or something that keeps you complacent and in the status quo? Someone or something that causes you to take your eyes off of God? And pulls you from a deeper relationship with Jesus?

Are you beginning to notice the change that's upon us? We are going to see how God has been moving in our midst, how He is awakening us—and the people of Greater Edmonton—to Himself, and what it looks like to lean in and be more involved with this vision that He has entrusted to us.

There are many options in this life, many things cross our path, tests, trials and temptations, but we have the power and freedom to choose, whom do you serve. Temptations entice us with all the lure of pleasure, but the lived reality of brokenness.

In your trials, be encouraged, because when you have endured trials God will reward you. You CAN endure you CAN see it through—knowing that you will receive the crown of life!

If someone were to ask you, “What is the end goal of your life?” what would you say?

What would you highlight? What would you want to boast about, but may not have the bravado to say? And what would you definitely not want to talk about, even though it drives you to some extent?

There are so many different mind games that either we play with others, or others play with us, intentionally or unintentionally, and we need to stop. Wise people don’t play mind games!

"Consider it a great joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you experience various trials, because you know that the testing of your faith produces endurance. And let endurance have its full effect, so that you may be mature and complete, lacking nothing."

Jesus is speaking. Jesus is leading. Jesus is transforming. Jesus is moving. And as He does, His disciples listen, or at least He wants them to.

So in this distracted world, are you listening to Jesus?
