Anjali Ranadive, Vivek Ranadive's daughter has been hired as an assistant general manager of the Stockton Kings, the Sacramento Kings' G-League affiliate. You'd imagine that we were spicy and jealous, but rather we are concerned that the basketball people can't do basketball things. Best of luck to you, Anjali. We're rooting for you, if only because we can't do anything else.

Why are the Sacramento Kings the laughingstock of the NBA? Why does every 14-year-old Twitter user call the Kings a ‘poverty franchise?’ And ultimately why has this lamentable franchise missed the playoffs for 16 consecutive years? We break down our three reasons why and if our one change in decision making would’ve broken the streak.

What a trade szn! Woj bombs galore and the Sacramento Kings were active. After the bevs, we get into the biggest winners and losers of the NBA trade season including the Lakers, Nets, Trailblazers, and Spencer Dinwiddie (4:49). Next, we get into the trades the Sacramento Kings made with a brief scouting profile on Domantas Sabonis, Justin Holiday, Donte DiVincenzo, Trey Lyles, and more, and how they might affect team play (32:49).

November 21st, 2021 will be forever known as the day Puke Walton got fired. Alvin Gentry  has been named the interim head coach of the Sacramento Kings in the NBA. Go Kings.

The Sacramento Kings promoted associate head coach Alvin Gentry to interim head coach after firing coach Luke Walton on Sunday, the team announced.

"After a thorough evaluation of the season thus far, I decided to make a change to the head coach position," Kings general manager Monte McNair said in a statement. "I want to thank Luke for his efforts and contributions to our team."

No bevs, it’s an emergency. Just lots of bittersweet emotions.

Something something definition of madness same thing over and expecting a different result something something. That is the life of the Sacramento Kings fan, we reckon. We talk madness like the Marvin Bagley Situation, if a shakeup is necessary, and if so, how much of one can the Kings afford? Of course, we talk Alvin's favorite players: Nikola Jokic and Ricky Rubio.

Alvin: KeVita Apple Cider Vinegar Tonic Elderberry - Not the kombucha replacement I wanted, but even then the smell of apple cider vinegar hitting your nostrils before even tasting it does not set a good precedent. It could use a bit more carbonation and less vinegar flavor. Would try other tonics.
