Depression and down times actually follow exciting events. It is perfectly normal to have let downs after working real hard. Weddings, births, moves, new jobs and even deaths bring expectations of great changes. Some things do change yet life still goes on with the monotonous normal daily grind that is not very exciting. So with the completion of exciting events there is a "now what" feeling and thought process that kicks in. When we look at where we are we might see nothing exciting yet
