Fellowship - a term that is often misused, overused and used lightly.  When talked about biblically, fellowship mean to gather together as Christians and believers.

The worldly definition of fellowship is;

The companionship of individuals in a congenial atmosphere and on equal terms.

Friendship; comradeship.

A close association of friends or equals sharing similar interests.

In the Bible, fellowship is held to high regard.  Fellowship within the apostles included eating together, prayer and learning in a way that honored Jesus Christ.  It didn't mean that they gathered for a sporting event.

Being Deliberate is taking action.  Whether it is in our faith, in our sin or in our relationships - when we are deliberate, things can happen.

*** During this episode - around the 25-minute mark - I speak to an online conversation I had with someone regarding the Gospel of Mark - more specifically the end of the book of Mark.  I misspoke in saying that this portion of the Bible was not divinely inspired.  During this conversation, I explained that translators had added the ending of the gospel of Mark - because it appeared there was no ending in the original texts/manuscripts.  Texts were taken from the other gospels to revise the ending of the gospel of Mark, or to create an ending.  Sometimes this text is presented as not being included in other translations.  Whatever the case is, I believe that the Bible is the divinely inspired word of God.  I believe that everything contained in the Bible was inspired by God, to be written and later included in the Bible.

Is what you feed your soul important?  It's very important.  As Christians, we can become malnourished.  We need to feed on things like the Word of God, biblical preaching and prayer.  We have to be in constant communion and fellowship with God to take care of our souls.  And it's equally important as we feed others.

John 21:15
