Welcome to Episode 18 of Season3 Beyond comfort zone podcast! I didn’t even know it was World Autism Month… and somehow, I found myself learning in real time.
In this episode, inspired by Love on the Spectrum on Netflix, I explore what autism means—both from a simple definition and a more personal, out-of-the-box perspective.
Autism means the brain works differently in how a person thinks, feels, communicates, and experiences the world. A person who is autistic is someone whose brain processes the world in this unique way. It is a spectrum, meaning everyone experiences it differently.
To me, it also feels like a different way of being—marked by sensitivity, depth, attention to detail, and authenticity.
This is not a clinical explanation. It’s a reflection.
Maybe the goal isn’t to label everything… maybe it’s to just be.
