Hello, my dear friends. Welcome back to the quiet corner of "Literary Glimmer." I am Mandy.

Tonight, I want you to let go of the map. In our daily lives, we are obsessed with maps—plans, goals, five-year strategies. We are always running from point A to point B, convinced that happiness is waiting for us at the finish line. We feel that if we stop seeking, we are failing. But have you ever thought that maybe, just maybe, the act of "seeking" is exactly what prevents us from "finding"?

When we seek, our eyes are only looking for one specific thing. We miss the flowers by the roadside, the color of the sky, the smile of a stranger. We miss life itself.

This brings us to the profound wisdom of Hermann Hesse’s "Siddhartha." It is the story of a man who spent his entire life searching for enlightenment. He tried everything—he was a beggar, a lover, a rich merchant. But he only found peace when he stopped trying to force life to give him answers, and instead, sat by a river and simply listened.

Before we enter the text, let’s feel the word Unity. It means that everything is connected. The pain, the joy, the past, the future—it is all one song. And the word Flow. Like the river, life doesn't stop. It doesn't look back at the past or worry about the future. It just is.

Now, imagine you are sitting on a grassy bank. The sun is setting, casting a golden light on the water. Siddhartha is listening to the river. He is no longer judging the voices he hears—the voices of sorrow, laughter, and anger. He is letting them merge. Let's listen with him.

"He listened. He was now nothing but a listener, completely concentrated, completely empty, he took everything in. He felt that he had now completely learned the art of listening. He had often heard all this before, all these numerous voices in the river, but today it sounded new. Siddhartha teaches us that we don't need to conquer the world to find peace. We just need to stop fighting the current. We need to open our eyes, not to look for what we want to see, but to see what is actually there.
