Beyond Expectation Podcast

Another action-packed episode full of tom foolery and nonsense. Grab some suds, blaze some bud and get ready to go nowhere in a hurry. Trigger Warning: This podcast is not created for those who need trigger warnings so this is your only warning to not listen to this or any of our other hilarious episodes. Sorry, chump. Do the world some good and go out there and get vaxxed. Already vaccine damaged? Put a mask on, two even and keep doing the Lord’s work. You’re making a difference.

Though this episode may sound more aggressive than most, Brett swears his rants are for good reason toward the end. What was getting under his skin? Was it the news of John McAfee’s so-called “suicide” that happened to look very similar to Jeffery Epstein’s “suicide”? You know, that one that many people assume high level gub’ment officials orchestrated in the dead of the night and the cameras just happened not to be working at that very moment – and only that very moment. Eduardo’s opinion on UFO’s being made by aliens appears to be shifting as he shares his own skepticisms about such a far-fetched idea while acknowledging that the good ol’ U.S. of A could be the real developers of this new technology while pushing narratives from CNN to Hollywood that aliens MUST be coming from outer space.

Never afraid to call it like they see it, especially after a couple drinks, Brett and Eduardo have a wonderful time talking about the joys Britney Spears must be feeling while being under a conservatorship for nearly a decade and a half. That and much more on this episode of the Tip Touch!

In this interview, The Tip Touch caught up with the insanely talented Hip Hop artist, Skypp who hails from Indiana. The first time Brett heard music from the “King of Indiana”, it was a song titled, “Sundown Town”, a track that warns Black Americans while reminding everyone else that racism is still prevalent in parts of our country. He explained in the interview that in 2021 there are still towns in Indiana where a Black person or POC can not go to after dark for fear that they may be targeted and attacked, perhaps even killed.

Skypp is unapologetically unique and true to his own vision which for better or worse, sets himself apart from most of today’s rappers. He is quick to remind listeners of the difference between a “rapper” and a Hip Hop artist in which he proudly claims the latter.

It was a sobering interview because for the first time, The Tip Touch got to sit down and talk about the struggles that many inner-city Black Americans face and the hopelessness that comes with it. Skypp shared that over the past year he’s seen at least 20 of his peers lose their lives to street violence and about 25 incarcerated. Despite standing against the odds, Skypp carries a sense of optimism which is the fuel he uses to keep pushing in the music industry which has largely slept on the Indianapolis music scene. He wants to see that change.

Brett couldn’t help but notice the many similarities between Skypp and Tupac. One being both artists used their God-given talent to talk about subjects that news headlines refuse to cover such as “Sundown Town” yet can use that same talent to make a club banger if that’s what the people want.

Eddie’s favorite jam was “Fix Your Crown”, a solid gem on his latest music which can be found on Spotify, YouTube and all other major music outlets.

One this episode we sat down with Dave (bass, lead vocals), Kevin (guitar), and Ryan (drums, backup vocals, sound engineer), who make up the band P Funk North known in the New Jersey/Connecticut music scene for their alternative rock/reggae fusion jams.

The band sat down with us to promote their new music which brings back a little bit of that Sublime nostalgia but very true to the P Funk North flavor. They shared some hilarious experiences while touring as well as how they got started and how they met. This last year was hard on everyone during the pandemic but especially hard on artists and entertainers who earn most of their income on the road. Despite of the obstacles, the band found new ways to adapt and get their sound out to the masses.

Dave, Kevin, and Ryan were great guests and we think you will love this interview as well as P Funk North’s music

Show some love by visiting any major music outlet (Spotify, Google Play, Youtube) check out P Funk North and give them a FOLLOW on Spotify, YouTube and their social media.

We had the pleasure of sitting down with comedian and podcast host from Atlanta, Kyndra Crump to hear what life is all about in the A-T-L. Her fresh perspective enriches the conversation while her positive outlook and witty demeanor bring plenty of laughs. Issues discussed on this episode include mental health, police interactions, and Justin Bieber’s dreads – well, perhaps more specifically, the issue of cultural appropriation. However, it doesn’t maintain a serious tone forever. We make sure to talk about the side hustle for a lot of today’s women of selling pictures of their feet on sites like OnlyFans.

We didn’t want to end the conversation but due to living in different time zones we had to find a stopping point. Kyndra agreed to come back on to discuss more in-depth topics sometime in the near future and we can’t wait to have her back on. Be sure to find her on her socials below. Don’t forget to like, subscribe, comment, and share until Kyndra Crump is a household name!

When bitcoin was invented in 2008 by an unknown person or group under the pseudonym Satoshi Nakamoto, the goal was to redirect some of the power back to the people by limiting the need for central banks or single administrators. The reason for using a pseudonym was because the inventor(s) knew that if people started adopting bitcoin, the banks and world governments wouldn’t let it happen without a fight.

Enter Vodra, a brand-new cryptocurrency based on Ethereum using the ERC20 protocol whose mission is to fairly compensate content creators in a world where Big Tech calls the shots and companies like YouTube and Twitch take 45% of revenue from content creators on their platforms. During the pandemic, entrepreneur, Conner Romanov took note of how popular cryptocurrency was becoming and thought of a plan to incorporate that with fair compensation for content creators, artists and anyone who uses social media to connect with their audience. He ran the idea past software developer, Zachary Bys and he agreed it was not only a good idea, but it was something they could develop and introduce to the world together. Vodra was born.

On this episode, we sit down with Conner and Zach about their incredible mission of working in the same spirit of Satoshi Nakamoto and placing power back in the hands of content creators without having to fork over 45% of their revenue to Big Tech. We try to answer some of the questions that get asked on a daily, if not, minute by minute bases by going over Vodra’s Whitepaper and asking questions we think content creators want answered. Conner and Zach’s openness and transparency give the listener the feeling that Vodra will soon become a top contender not only in the crypto space, but in the entertainment world as well. Vodra’s business model is a win-win for both consumers and content creators – more of the money consumers are paying to see good content is going directly in the pockets of content creators allowing for more quality entertainment from their favorite creator.

Cryptocurrency is getting kinda hot right now. Brett has been in the game for a minute and spends a few minutes talking about it.

UFOs are becoming more and more prevalent in today’s news. Of course we can’t let it go.

90’s and early 00s rapper, DMX recently ended up in the hospital reportedly from suffering a heart attack. There are rumors a drug overdose is what led to his heart attack. He has had a long battle with addiction starting when he was introduced to crack by his mentor at the age of 14. Brett shares his story about catching one of his friends try to slip amphetamines in with the weed they were smoking during his years in high school. He wasn’t so lucky another time when the he found out the joint he and his friends were smoking was laced with PCP. Eduardo shares his story about eating too many edibles at once and how he was tripping balls after he did so. Drugs are bad, mmmkay.
