The murder of George Floyd was the catalyst for millions of Americans across the country to fill city streets to protest police brutality, especially against black citizens. We know how important this momentous event is and took the opportunity to give our take.
Scott Hoard joined us on the podcast again to offer his insight on some of the key events going on in the country right now including the possibility of quarterback and civil rights activist, Colin Kaepernick returning to the NFL.

On this episode we got the boys together and go ham on everything. Damon talks about his experience trying to collect unemployment due to the pandemic. The state didn’t even give him his first check until after he was back at work and got his first check from there first! Luckily wifey was holding him down and they made it but how many families don’t have someone who is able to support them. Total FAILURE on Washington State Unemployment Department.
We try to address what we feel the “new normal” will look like due to the outbreak from face masks being worn regularly, inflation, working from home, the national debt and the mental changes as well.
Ed has been watching The Last Dance, a Netflix docuseries on the GOAT himself, Michael Jordan. He’s enthralled at MJ’s champion mindset. It’s a must see, according the Ed.
With homelessness SKYROCKETING, the boys all came in with their own separate ideas. We should probably run on a local ticket. Four names: one ticket. Vote for the four amigos.

Hey all you cool cats and kittens – Nope, not Carole Baskin, just B and E droppin gems on all yall. It was an eventful week which gave us A LOT to talk about. Right off the jump we address the “altercation” involving former Seahawk, Earl Thomas and his wife. Dude was caught cheating and is lucky to be alive.
How are we gonna have a podcast and not talk about The Tiger King? Apparently, they are making a movie series on this guy and guess what - They found who is going to play role of the Joe Exotic. Any guesses?
As if the coronavirus wasn’t enough to deal with already, we now have something else to keep us indoors – Murder Hornets. When we first heard the news of this new invasive species we originally thought there was going to be a new reunion for the Wu-Tang Killer Bees. Nope, just wishful thinking on our part.
Lastly, and on a more serious note, we gotta talk about this situation in Georgia where video was recently released of two armed white men get into an altercation with an unarmed black man where they end up shooting and killing him. The shooting took place on 2/23/20 and it wasn’t until the video’s release over two months later and public outcry that finally got the two white men arrested. What took so long? Brett thinks the family should bankrupt the city to show them and other similar communities a lesson. Is he wrong?

Our guest on this episode is making moves in the Mixer streaming community and talks about what it’s like to be a partner on the platform. She goes by the name of _BOSSY and after you hear how she handles business, you quickly realize it’s an appropriate handle. This is just the beginning for our guest as she hopes to take on additional sponsorships along the way including, none other than White Claw. White Claw, if you’re listening, make it happen, fam.
We were super grateful and fortunate to have _BOSSY on the show. For newer and veteran streamers alike, she offers a lot of sound advice and tips on how to improve your own stream. Eduardo and Brett leave no stone unturned on this episode: Brett talks about 90 Day Fiance and how there are a lot of old men who go to other countries to marry young women. He doesn’t shy away from some of the cast that is playing that game and even has advice for the women who get caught up in situations like that. Things get real with Ed as he shares the unfortunate news about a member of his church losing his battle with covid 19.
Brett threw out a Call to Action for Tip Touch listeners. If you are good at social media, have experience with growing an audience, especially in the podcast realm, WE WANT TO HEAR FROM YOU. Hit us up on Instagram in the DM and tell us a little about your experience. We will pay for good help.
Last week, Brett decided he was going to give his 90 Day Fiancé check to someone who needed it more than he did. He put out a request on Instagram for anyone who was having troubles financially to let him know so he could help. Someone asked and after she got the money, she made a quick video to validate for the listeners that the money went to a good cause. It made our day. We are always happy to help.

On this long-awaited episode, the stars finally aligned and Brett’s good friend, Damon Smith joined us on the podcast. It was all out on the table – Trump, Biden, covid conspiracies, 5G, basically what your friends tell you not to talk about in public, but we did. Don’t worry folks, we know the limits and are sure not to cross them but there are some tense moments on the podcast. This is how it is with us off air as well. We just feel that with honesty and respect you can cut through a lot of misunderstandings that exist in today’s culture. It also helps that we’re good friends and know how to have a good time as well. We hope you enjoy this conversation as much as we did having it. Another classic for the vault.

Our guest on this episode was the one who convinced Eduardo to start streaming while he games. His name is Corey but the gaming community on Mixer knows him as BaldnBootyful. He shares his experiences and ideas about hosting, co-hosting, playing different games and interacting with his audience. Corey also talks about finding out he suffers from alopecia universalis, an autoimmune condition characterized by total hair loss on the scalp and body because it’s believed that the immune system mistakenly attacks the hair follicles.
While we are still in quarantine, we took a little bit of time to talk covid. The question is: Would YOU take the vaccination once it’s created in 12-18 months. We have thoughts.
All in all, it was a really good conversation and we look forward to having Corey back on in the near future.

Our favorite tattoo artist, Luis Hernandez (@luishernandezart on Instagram) took some time to chop it up with Eduardo (@edu_ardoe on Instagram) and Brett to talk about how things are for him being out of work for the past 4 weeks QUARANTINED and out of work. Being a tattoo artist, his industry was one of the first ones the State of Washington told to stop doing business in order to reduce the spread of COVID-19.
This was a super fun episode for us to do. We talked about everything from being at home all the time and how we deal with it to conspiracies, gaming, and what the future will look like.
After this thing is over, if you are in Snohomish County, WA, and looking to get some ink done, go to our man, Luis’ Instagram page, check out his work and get it scheduled. He’s going to do Brett’s historical “Bear” tattoo when Tip Touch listeners contribute $10K AND we get 10K followers. Oh yes, Oh yes.

Today, Brett addresses the elephant in the room. After promising Tip Touch listeners that he and Daya were done filming with 90 Day Fiancé, news broke that they were indeed back to filming with the reality show. What gives? He explains their reasoning.
What does the “new normal” look like post covid-19? Brett explores that and shares his thoughts on if he were to lose his home and new vehicle. He also shares some experiences he had with growing up through poverty.

On this episode, we are delighted to have back on, Erika Shantini from Malaysia. With a 15-hour time difference, Eddie and Brett just woke up as Erika was getting ready for bed. She talks about what a quarantine looks like in her country (police blockades, mandatory face masks, etc.). Erika also shares stories about what her friends are reporting from other countries such as UK, Denmark, Germany, Venezuela, and Brazil. From video karaoke to street gangs patrolling the street, there are huge differences in ways local governments and community members are trying to limit the spread of covid-19.
Erika talks about the importance of exercise and how she manages to work out at home. Brett admits that being cooped up has caused a minor level of depression to set in and is willing to take Erika’s advice by working out at home – even if it’s just 30 seconds with the jump rope.
Other topics addressed are how US President, Donald Trump has enabled many in his base to discriminate Asians and Asian Americans with his labeling of covid-19 as a “Chinese virus”. People in his orbit have also referred to it as the “Kung Fu Flu” and the president has done very little to discourage such discriminatory behavior. The Seattle area and many other parts of the country have seen an uptick in attacks on Asians or their businesses and Brett feels President Trump and his base have played a key role in that despite his weak attempt on twitter to convince his base that Asians are not the problem. Too little, too late is Brett’s opinion.
