Dr. Austin speaks to the challenges facing the black communities, the overwhelming stress facing black women, and the overall importance of health and wellness. 

Kim spoke to her passionate commitment of believing in herself, and the importance of education. These principles, combined with surrounding herself with successful mentors, ensured her ability to achieve whatever she set her heart and mind to -- despite racial injustice and its inherent limitations.

Kim brilliantly outlined that the white community must take ownership of their part in systemic racism. This is not a black issue, this is a white issue that must be confronted for our nation to heal.
