The Retired Athlete’s Club is one of the more clever ideas I’ve heard in a long time. McKenzie Mallett, a former captain of Salem State University Women’s hockey team has come up with a new clothing apparel for those high school and college athletes that are officially done playing their sports after their senior seasons.

This is a really great idea and I think she’ll have much success with it. Check out this awesome episode.

Joe Gore is one of the best head coaches around the state in hoops. He was a former standout athlete at Shawsheen and just has his squad firing on all cylinders this season. They are currently at 18-2, are the overall 4 seed in D3 and hosting a home playoff game in round 1. We were lucky to get him on the podcast and are honored to have him on. Checkout a great episode.

The Medford Mustang hockey program is always a favorite of ours to cover cover and have on the podcast. Every Hockey season since Beyond started 4 years ago, Mustang Hockey has been as loyal as they come to us! We had on the 5 seniors of the squad to talk about winning the GBL Title, to almost clinching a playoff berth, to the upcoming senior night. Great kids, good laughs and a lot of fun. Anthony Faradie has been one of the best Basketball Coaches in the State of Massachusetts over the past two decades. He has coached in both Medford and Methuen, where he has had very successful seasons, programs and state playoff runs. In his first year at Wilmington High School, he has already clinched a spot in the State Tournament and looking to climb the power rankings and make a state playoff run! Roll Cats!!

Here we talk with one of the best athletes in my opinion that has ever come through the city of Medford. He's a 3-star athlete and captain of all three Varsity teams. Some sports he started as a freshman, and other sports he was the impact player by his sophomore year. Justin was on this podcast two years ago when he was just starting to shine, and now he has become a household name in Medford. Check out this episode, its' a fun one!

We were lucky to get the 12-1 Shawsheen Rams Boys Basketball team on the podcast to talk shop. This team is impressive, sharp, and playing some of the best basketball in the state. They have a deep bench, talent from the senior to freshmen classes and are built for a deep playoff run. They are currently ranked #2 in Division 3 and looking to finish the season strong. Dom is one of the youngest High School Basketball coaches in the State of Massachusetts. He is in the 3rd year of running his program and has not led them to back to back State Tournament appearances after not being as a program for a long time! Great listen and a lot of good knowledge for a young coach! Check it out!

Margaret is one of the best content creators and TV personalities on NESN. Margaret is one of the hardest working people out there wearing many different hats and really making a name or herself! She is also a boxing and wrestling ring announcer and is quickly moving up the circuit in both arenas. Margaret has a crazy hard work ethic, she is very personable and easy to talk to and she is a star in the making! Checkout this great conversation.

Prince is a humble, fun loving, and nice kid outside the game of football, but on the field he plays with a high motor and is a very physical and hard hitting player on both sides of the ball. Prince had some of the hardest hits in the state all year and helped carry the Mustangs to another successful year on the field. Many schools are interested in his talents and he is currently in the decision making process. Great listen!
