‘Enter the Dragon’ and let the games begin.  As Regina goes undercover to find out what the Queens of Darkness are up to, she must gain their trust first.  A game of chicken called “Don’t be a Hero” only proves that Regina does not want to die.  Instead she offers a different kind of fun: drinking, burning and destruction.  This is not enough to gain their trust.  Regina’s true test is given by Maleficent: to kidnap Pinocchio.  This puts Regina in a great predicament because she made amends with Marco only to now steal his son away and hand him over to the villains.  But, if Regina fails this test, then she will never prove to the Queens that she is on their side. Little by little, secrets are revealed, leaving some people ‘Unforgiven’.  We are taken to fairy tale land where the Queens of Darkness seek Snow and Charming to help stop Regina’s dark curse.  The only way to do this is to ask the Tree of Wisdom how to defeat Regina.  Only the most valiant ones have the power to ask the Tree of Wisdom anything which leads to Snow and Charming.  To everyone’s surprise, they are not as valiant as the Queens of Darkness think as the tree blasts them.  Maleficent reveals that Snow is with child and since her unborn child has the greatest potential for darkness, the Tree of Wisdom did not answer them.  Now, on to plan B.  Maleficent appears in Snow’s bedroom to reveal that she, too, is with child and wants to team up to stop Regina.  Snow refuses to work with Maleficent and does not want to use any dark means to save both their children.  Snow would rather risk the whole kingdom to protect her child from darkness.  What repercussions will there be for refusing to help Maleficent? With ‘ Darkness on the Edge of Town ’, peaceful Storybrooke will be turned upside down.  Many years ago, the band of villains (Rumple, Cruella, Ursula and Maleficent) travel to Bald Mountain and combine their powers to obtain the curse for their happy ending.  But, not without Rumple double crossing the Queens of Darkness and leaving them to fend for themselves against the Chernobog.  In present day, Rumple now turns to the very people that he betrayed (Ursula and Cruella) to get back into Storybrooke.  Being the mastermind that he is, Rumple’s plan plays out and the 3 of them are able to enter Storybrooke, thanks to a deal Regina and Emma made with Cruella and Ursula.  We know they will regret this deal, but if Regina is on her road to redemption and happiness, how can she deprive villains who were less evil than her to the same? In Storybrooke, it's not always clear who the "Heroes & Villains" are.  Some villains have changed and become heroes while others have just "evolved".  Once seen as an evil villain, Regina finally gets her happy ending only for it to be ripped away from her in order to save Marian once again.  Can she ever get her true love from doing what's right? Rumple, on the other hand, "takes" his happy ending but when Belle sees the truth, she drives Rumple out of Storybrooke, ruining his happy ending with Belle.  Can Rumple take his happy ending back? Good things come to those who wait, even if you are the Snow Queen.  She can finally  “Smash the Mirror” and cast a spell on Storybrooke to turn everyone against each other.  But first, we are taken back to Arendelle where the Snow Queen makes a deal with the Apprentice.  In exchange for the Sorcerer’s hat, the Sorcerer must give the Snow Queen a magical “sister” to join her family.  The Snow Queen’s wish for a 3rd magical family member was almost disrupted when Emma turned to Rumplestiltskin to help her get rid of her powers.  Luckily, Elsa was there to stop Emma in time and the Snow Queen was able to bind the three of them with the yellow ribbons her and her sisters once had.  Will the yellow ribbons be strong enough to bind them together? We are taken on a chilling blast to the past where we see how “The Snow Queen” came to be.  A sisterly bond between 3 sisters (Ingrid, Helga and Gerda) grew so strong but their love for one another was not enough to keep them together.  A tragic accident tears them apart leaving Ingrid/The Snow Queen trapped and forgotten.  Too painful to bear, Gerda enlists the help of the Rock Troll to erase the kingdom’s memories forever.  But, as we know, The Snow Queen is out to get a family of her own and replace the sisters she lost.  Is Emma and Elsa ready to join her family or defeat her for good? We go back to 1998 to find Emma with her friend, Lily, whose dishonesty ruins their friendship. Could this be a mirror image of Emma and Regina's relationship today? Emma and Regina do set aside their differences long enough to combine their superpowers to defeat the Snow Queen's snowman while Elsa is able to conquer her fear to save them from the Snow Queen.
