Hollywood Hates History: Conqueror (1956)
Description: The next few movies Scott and I will talk about have at least one common theme, they all involve John Wayne in one way or another. John Wayne either really loved history or truly hated it and wanted to punish it. Whatever John Wayne felt, he had a talent for turning any era of history into a great Western. Today Scott and I (and of course you) have to decide whether John Wayne respected the tradition of Genghis Khan or if he shot it full of flaming fire arrows. Today, Scott is going to defend the 1956 classic: The Conqueror starring John Wayne.
