Welcome to the “Real Estate Take” podcast! This is episode #3 featuring Evans Wright. Evans Wright is a military veteran and currently resides in Waxhaw, NC. He previously served 12 years active duty in the U.S. Air Force as a Nuclear Missile Operator and has been involved in real estate since 2015. He started out with house hacking multifamily properties while adding value and raising rents which allowed him to scale quickly to owning 13 doors. During the pandemic, he sold his fourplex, did a 1031 exchange with a duplex and currently owns nine doors. His passion for financial independence through real estate investing led him to become a full-time agent so he can help others – whether it be with investment properties or finding their next home in Charlotte and the surrounding areas.

Welcome to the “Real Estate Take” podcast! This is episode #1 featuring Andrew Freed. Andrew started off on the W2 track as a project manager and ascended through the corporate ladder from company to company, always looking for the next higher paying job. Then after reading Rich Dad Poor Dad, just like many others, he came to the realization that the rat race is a 30–40-year journey which seems like an eternity. Why not take the leap and try for financial freedom in the next 10 years? Worst case, you can just go back to the workforce and take the traditional retirement path to 65.

After that epiphany, he was determined to take action. He obtained a home line of credit (HELOC) on his one-bedroom condo in Boston and bought 7 deals over the course of 2 years; he purchased four 3 families and one 5 unit in Worcester, MA. He also joined 2 apartment building syndications as a limited partner, one in Lowell MA and the other in Phoenix AZ. He currently still works his W2, owns and self manages 18 rental units and is an investor focused real estate agent in the Worcester Massachusetts area.
