This week Ian, Jeff, Derek and Sol talk through this week's teaching based on the parable of the Unmerciful Servant from Matthew 18:21-35. Through this parable we were reminded that the debt we owe God for our sin is a debt we are incapable of paying yet in His mercy He has forgiven us. That truth should lead us to follow His example and empower us to offer forgiveness to our repentant brothers and sisters.
Our hope and prayer is that through the Beyond the Building podcast you would continue the conversation of God's Word in your home, on your campus, in your workplace and neighborhood so His gospel can be shared with all.

This week Jeff, Ian, Alyssa and Alex talk through this week's teaching based on the parable of the Pharisee and the Tax Collector from Luke 18:9-14. Through this parable we saw that the way to be made right, or to be justified before God isn't through self-righteousness and our list of good deeds but rather through approaching God with empty hands and empty hearts understanding our need for His mercy and grace.
Our hope and prayer is that through the Beyond the Building podcast you would continue the conversation of God's Word in your home, on your campus, in your workplace and neighborhood so His gospel can be shared with all.

Join Jeff, Angie, Carter and Clayton as they discuss the parables of the hidden treasure and the pearl from in Matthew 13:44-46. We saw through this weeks teaching that when we realize the great value of the kingdom of heaven we should do a cost analysis and find that nothing we have acquired, achieved, or hope to achieve is greater than His kingdom. It should be with great joy that we detach from the things of this world and attach ourselves to the kingdom of heaven.

Join Jeff, Angie, Micah and Dayton as they talk through the final message from Haggai. We saw through God’s word that Zerubbabel and us today can live fearlessly with a biblical worldview for God’s Kingdom knowing that what God proclaims, He does. We can be hopeful and confident in this because our God is the LORD Almighty (the God of angel armies).

As the people of God once again got back to work on rebuilding the temple, a critical error had crept in unnoticed: the people slowly began to feel that because they were working on something holy, it made them holy. So for a third time God sends His prophet Haggai to correct their misguided belief and remind them of where God's righteousness truly comes from. We saw how a works based mindset, defiles the true gospel and the grace and salvation only found through the sinless life, brutal death, and miraculous resurrection of Jesus Christ.

Join Caden and the crew as they talk through week 2 of our Haggai teaching series where we looked at how to live with a Kingdom Perspective.
