Nl: Het was de tweede dag van Pinksteren.
En: It was the second day of Pinksteren.

Nl: De lucht was zacht, en de vogels zongen vrolijk, terwijl Bram, Sanne en Daan door de drukke straat naar het Wetenschapsmuseum liepen.
En: The air was mild, and the birds sang cheerfully as Bram, Sanne, and Daan walked through the busy street towards the Wetenschapsmuseum.

Nl: Bram had wekenlang uitgekeken naar de speciale expositie over ruimtevaart.
En: Bram had been looking forward to the special space travel exhibition for weeks.

Nl: De zon scheen helder op zijn gezicht, en zijn gloed van opwinding was duidelijk zichtbaar.

En: "No idea," answered Daan, who was already moving his hands to his pockets to grab his phone.

Nl: Bram slikte hard.
En: Bram swallowed hard.

Nl: Maar hij probeerde zijn kalmte te bewaren.
En: But he tried to keep his calm.

Nl: "Ik gebruik mijn telefoon als zaklamp.
En: "I’ll use my phone as a flashlight.

Nl: Laten we proberen richting de uitgang te gaan," stelde hij voor, terwijl hij zijn telefoon tevoorschijn haalde.
En: Let’s try to head towards the exit," he suggested, as he pulled out his phone.

Nl: Het zwakke licht van zijn telefoon scheen als een baken van hoop in het donker.
En: The weak light of his phone shone like a beacon of hope in the dark.

Nl: Ze manoeuvreerden voorzichtig door de gangpaden van het museum.
En: They carefully maneuvered through the museum aisles.

Nl: De schaduwen dansten grillig om hen heen terwijl ze hun weg zochten.
En: The shadows danced erratically around them as they searched for their way.

Nl: "Rustig maar, Bram," zei Sanne geruststellend toen ze een drempel tegenkwam.
En: "Take it easy, Bram," said Sanne reassuringly when they encountered a threshold.

Nl: Maar net toen ze dichter bij de uitgang leken te komen, ging het mis.
En: But just as they seemed to be getting closer to the exit, things went wrong.

Nl: Bram’s telefoon knipperde en viel uit.
En: Bram's phone flickered and went out.

Nl: Batterij leeg.
En: Battery dead.

Nl: Paniek begon zijn adem te ontnemen.
En: Panic began to steal his breath.

Nl: De angst voor de duisternis kwam sluipend terug, sterker dan ooit.
En: The fear of the darkness crept back, stronger than ever.

Nl: "Bram, is alles goed?" vroeg Daan bezorgd.
En: "Bram, are you okay?" asked Daan worriedly.

Nl: Bram ademde zwaar.
En: Bram breathed heavily.

Nl: “Het spijt me,” mompelde hij.
En: "I’m sorry," he muttered.

Nl: "Ik ben bang in het donker."
En: "I’m afraid of the dark."

Nl: Sanne legde een hand op zijn schouder.
En: Sanne placed a hand on his shoulder.

Nl: "Het is oké," zei ze zacht.
En: "It’s okay," she said softly.

Nl: "We zijn hier samen."
En: "We’re here together."

Nl: Daan glimlachte.
En: Daan smiled.

Nl: “Ik heb mijn telefoon nog.
En: "I still have my phone.

Nl: Geen zorgen, we komen hier wel uit.”
En: Don’t worry, we’ll find our way out."

Nl: Hij nam de leiding met zijn verlichte scherm.
En: He took the lead with his lit screen.

Nl: Met elke stap voelde Bram zich een beetje rustiger, omringd door zijn vrienden.
En: With every step, Bram felt a bit calmer, surrounded by his friends.

Nl: Ze volgden Daan door de duistere gangen, en eindelijk zagen ze de nooduitgang opdoemen, beschenen door zwakke, rode lampjes.
En: They followed Daan through the dark corridors, and finally, they saw the emergency exit looming, lit by dim, red lights.

Nl: Buiten adem stapten ze naar buiten in het frisse voorjaarslicht.
En: Out of breath, they stepped outside into the fresh spring light.

Nl: Bram haalde diep adem en voelde een last van zijn schouders vallen.
En: Bram took a deep breath and felt a weight lift from his shoulders.

Nl: Hij keek naar Sanne en Daan.
En: He looked at Sanne and Daan.

En: "Thank you, really," he said, his voice filled with genuine gratitude.

Nl: "Geen probleem, vriend," antwoordde Daan.
En: "No problem, buddy," replied Daan.

Nl: "We blijven samen, in licht én donker."
En: "We stick together, in light and dark."

Nl: Bram knikte.
En: Bram nodded.

Nl: Hij voelde zich sterker, wetende dat hij zijn angsten kon delen en dat zijn vrienden hem zouden ondersteunen.
En: He felt stronger, knowing he could share his fears and that his friends would support him.

Nl: Tranen van opluchting en vreugde vulden zijn ogen.
En: Tears of relief and joy filled his eyes.

Nl: Hij wist dat hij op weg was naar meer zelfvertrouwen, klaar om nieuwe avonturen aan te gaan met zijn vrienden aan zijn zijde.
