With irreverent humour and a Dadaist perspective on the absurd, Vosu explores the idea of human frailty and vulnerability, through a mix of mediums including; video, collage, found objects and drawing.

Today on Beyond The Frame, we talk with Surrealist and Automatiste painter Heejae Jo.  Influenced by Duchamp and Matisse, her vibrantly coloured, multi media assemblages, reference her dreams through intuitive markmaking, which is free from tradition and joyfully subversive.  

In this episode of Beyond The Frame, Portrait artist Leah Probst takes us on a journey into the magic and mystery of Heightened Realism.  Her exquisitely detailed acrylic paintings offer a meditative exploration into her subject’s inner life, as well as her own. To her, process is key and she believes she was “put on this earth to make art”
