We're excited about the gradual drip of Forza Horizon 5 information and looking forward to chasing those dust storms in Mexico. Back in the Great Britain of Forza Horizon 4 we're getting  a Mexican car. We talk about inclusion and diversity in gaming. I use the phrase "big horned Mexican sheep" and Passenger Rosie isn't sure about the 2006 Miura concept. Nico and Passenger Rosie have been comparing engine notes and enjoying the LFA, watching Formula E, and talking to Canadian radio. We have the briefest of glances over the new series and we reckon the Saleen is a bit of a "greatest hits" supercar. Our Miata has an embarrassingly loud exhaust but that doesn't mean Nico doesn't drop a gear going through tunnels.

Forza Horizon 5 has been announced and we chat about what we know so far...and give our opinions!

Nico "Beastie" Boyce and Passenger Rosie aren't entirely sold on the new 'Vette but we were chuffed to be briefed on the launch by Chevy's PR people. We've put hours in to Lego Valley but we're a bit confused by the trees. We'll be watching the 24 hours of Daytona if we can stay up all night and Nico looks ahead to having a spin in a Caterham at Silverstone.

Nico "Beastie" Boyce (Instagram: @nicoboyce) and Passenger Rosie (@d0g_r0se) aren't convinced new players are going to be chuffed to need a McLaren F1 for this week's challenges. We've heard complaints about the graphics in FH4 on the Xbox Series X but we're excited to get hold of the Singer Porsche. We're planning a trip back to the Lake District in a borrowed Hilux and Nico is excited to see the world of Forza Horizon 4 in winter this time. 

England is back under lockdown and so Nico "Beastie" Boyce hasn't been able to get out for a spin in the Miata. He's been kept busy by EA joining the Xbox game pass and so Need For Speed is now free to play for subscribers. We look over the key similarities and differences between the two game franchises, their very different settings of Miami and Britain, also we glance over this week's challenges in Forza Horizon 4.

Nico "Beastie" Boyce is undecided on upgrading the television or the Xbox first but is looking forward to NFS coming to the Game Pass. Winter is photography season in Forza Horizon and so Nico has been snapping the Eagle Speedster. We've never seen a GMC Typhoon in real life but we sort of want one. @nicoboyce has probably unwisely invested in a 599XX E from the auction house but isn't that taken with it. He daydreams about doing some motorsport himself, or at least a sunny day to enjoy the Miata. We're not convinced cars that aren't road legal belong in Forza Horizon but we'd sort of like to be able to drive some of Britain's circuits in the game. Elsewhere we've been binging on racing on Youtube and planning what to see next season.
