Madelaine Empey and Dr Mike Country talk with Dr Elaine Beaulieu about the experience of teaching online for the first time, recommendations for first time teachers and the mystery of what makes a good teacher a good teacher.

In this episode, Maddie talks with Dr. Mike Country about his research involving the retina, hypoxia in fish, and metabolism. Other than talking about his various projects, they also discuss Dr. Country's future research plans such as his Japanese fellowship at RIKEN with Genshiro Sunagawa and Eisuke Nishida, working on hypometabolism.
