Worrying about juggling our careers and motherhood can be a challenge to face. Everything from finding proper childcare to deciding to be a full-time stay-at-home mom requires support. Transitioning to become a woman passionate about her own life is also a challenge. However, this same community of women can offer you support and help guide you through gracefully.
In today’s episode, we have Missy Stevens and Suzanne Kerns, co-hosts of the Mom and … Podcast. Susanne Kerns is a writer and foster child advocate. Her past life includes stints as a corporate community relations manager and nonprofit communications. Susanne is now a humor writer living in Austin, Texas with her husband and two children. Missy Stevens is a former mom blogger and now an aspiring novelist, slowly working on endless revisions of her first manuscript.
Listen in as both women share their mom journeys. Together, they have been working on building a community of moms for years, first as blog writers and now as podcasters. They provide their audience with an opportunity to learn to grow. They help fellow women figure things out, become more self-aware, and understand who they get to be outside of the role of moms.
