Regis is the founder and director of Galileo's Skatepark, a 501c3 "a non-profit organization raising funds to open and operate a community wellness center that will host a local indoor skatepark and Health Club to be of service in an underserved community in Woonsocket, Rhode Island."

Elijah Rich is a Rochester-based hip-hop artist. During adolescence, his father ran the venue inside X=Wheels skatepark in Buffalo NY where is rode bmx and inline skates and saw countless shows. Elijah himself if playing a show at BFS on Nov 13th 2025. In this episode, we discuss those early days at X-Wheel, his journey as a musician, what music means, and much more. Since March of 2017, Breaking Free Skatepark has hosted Ladies Skate Night. I am aware of no other woman's skate event with the longevity of Ladies Skate Night at BFS. In this episode, we have a casual conversation with 3 ladies who have frequented ladies' night for years. Pagie and Lydia literally learned to skate at Ladies Night and have grown to be cornerstones in the local skate scene. Zaarah, a physicist, has regularly spent time in Rochester for work and recently moved here permanently. She has been a regular at Ladies Night for many years.

Johnny Huckabay is the owner of Huckabay Skateboards in Cumberland, Maryland. Dividing his time between being a part of the local skatepark advocacy board, running a skateshop, and working a full-time overnight job, this man is passionately dedicated to skateboarding. Huckabay Skateboards opened in February of 2025. With the public outdoor park set to open in the coming months, he is surely well-positioned to foster the next generation of riders in the area.
