Offenses will come to us. All of us struggle with the sin nature as it props its ugly head up in the home.----Jesus speaks to the problem of people who bring offense on someone else. He also speaks to the fact that offenses need to be forgiven as often as they occur.----An attitude of unforgiveness can ruin marriages and other relationships. The apostle Paul provides us with his argument that eliminates any possible excuse anyone might have for thinking themselves righteous in their own eyes.----Before God, all without exception are unrighteous and in need of God's saving grace in order to be redeemed.----Paul works through his argument arriving to the point that every mouth might be stopped.

When we eat or drink the Lord's Supper with an improper attitude, we are eating -unworthily.- We need to guard ourselves against that.

Paul outlines the natural downward spiral of the unsaved person. It is not a pretty picture, literally taking the person from bad to worse. The only One who can save us from this tragedy is God in Christ. Too many will not come to Him.----Those who persist in refusing God's call to salvation will eventually be left to themselves in this life. God will literally give them over to their own reprobate minds.

It's all about faith and not about works. The just shall live by faith in the work of Jesus Christ.----God's wrath is revealed from heaven against all who refuse the truth. There is no excuse to not know God through His Son. It is foolishness that draws people away from God and His salvation.

Peace always follows grace. Once you know Christ, you know peace because of what He has accomplished for us.
