Does God really have a plan for my life?

Christians say it all the time: “God has a plan for you.”

But what does that actually mean? Is there one perfect job, relationship, city, or path God has chosen for you? And if you make the wrong decision... can you accidentally ruin His plan?

In this episode of Bible, Basically, we put Jeremiah 29:11 back into context, unpack Romans 8:28, and look at what Scripture actually says about God's will, our choices, and how He guides us.

Maybe God's will isn't a secret blueprint you're supposed to spend your life trying to decode.

Do you have to go to church to be a Christian?

If salvation comes through faith in Jesus, does showing up on Sunday actually matter? Can you worship God just as well at home? And what about people who have been hurt by the Church and aren't sure they ever want to go back?

What does “give it to God” actually mean?

Christians say it all the time. Give it to God. Let it go. Trust Him.

But what are you actually supposed to do when the problem is still there, you're still worried about it, and five minutes after praying... you've picked it right back up?

Do miracles still happen?

For me, that question just became deeply personal.

After preparing for the possibility of a heart transplant, I received news I never expected: I don't need one.

In this episode of Bible, Basically, I share what's happened in my own life while exploring what Scripture actually says about modern-day miracles, healing, prayer, medicine, and the difficult question we can't ignore: If God can heal, why doesn't He heal everyone?

This isn't about having enough faith to guarantee a miracle. It's about praying boldly, trusting God with the answer, and remembering that whether the answer is yes, no, or wait, He is still God.
