Bible Bomb

This is the second part of our slavery in the bible study we have been going through.

The scripture given to us about slavery in the New Testament is in a way different context than the Old Testament. The Old Testament contains passages that give regulations and rules to protect the rights of the slaves and to govern the people while alot of the New Testament is focusing on speaking to the slaves who are under another country's rules and regulations so the Bible gives instructions on how to honor God under slavery and more!

Slavery is evil right? So why does God add regulations for slave owners in the Old Testament? Let’s take a look at the text together to understand what's going on here. Next episode we will examine the New Testament.

Is defending yourself moral in God's eyes? Does Jesus saying "turn the other cheek" cancel self-defense for Christians? If not, what does it mean, and what are some solid examples of self-defense practiced in the bible? We explore these questions and much more in this episode.

Understanding the nature of God is a very widely debated topic, but the "trinity" is what we believe reflects the truth of God's word most accurately. There are a lot of questions surrounding this doctrine though and in this episode we answer many, but if you have one we missed feel free to send us a message or comment on one of our Facebook posts.

"Don't judge lest ye be judged." We hear this everywhere! This is a quote taken from Matthew 7:1, but is this the standard that Christians should approach every situation by or is there more to the story? What did Jesus really mean by this statement? We answer these questions and more on this topic in this episode.

Sadly there are many political figures out there that twist scripture in order to get your support for their socialist cause, and in this episode we discuss those lies so that we might help others from falling into their trap.

Progressive Christianity is not only dangerous today but is becoming more and more dangerous everyday! Today we are discussing some of their most popular beliefs and what is wrong with them, hopefully we bring at least a little more awareness to this cancer in the church. ~P.S. This episode was accidentally recorded on the laptop instead of the mics that is why the audio isn't up to the our normal quality.

In this episode we will discuss what legalism is, how to avoid it, why it's dangerous and so much more!

The wife's role in the family is extraordinarily important and is unfortunately often overlooked, so in this episode we are having a politically incorrect conversation about the responsibilities of the wife given to us in the bible.

Sadly in today's culture husbands are not expected to be anything special or even specific, but this topic is incredibly important for people who are married or are wanting to be married in the future!
