This episode picks up with the reign of King David Season 2 in the second book of Samuel, and ish gets real! There’s adultery, conspiracy, abuse of power…is this Game of Thrones or the Promised Land?!

Season 2 kicks off with a blast as the ladies dive into the first book of Samuel, Israel’s first prophet and one of the last judges of the OT, the Old Testament. We also roll up on a young future king David, who just wanted to sing and dance for the Lord but also wanted the Philistines to know that he had that fire if they wanted that smoke!

In this very special episode, Regina and her beloved Nana discuss the Book of Ruth and discuss how courageous, dedicated, and loyal Ruth was - all the characteristics of a virtuous woman. And who better than to sign off on this than Nana! Ruth may have been the blueprint, but for us it's our grandmothers that hold the special title of role model!

The Isrealites still can't get right but Delilah cashes out and gets the last word! We dedicate this episode to her and the rest of the women of Judges who were mistreated and misrepresented.
