Isaiah will be possed (filled with) the Spirit and he would pronounce that judgment was coming upon the people of Israel.
He tells Judah that what's happening to them in the North is going to happen to Judah next.
He tells them to repent but they won't listen! They are apathetic, they won’t get engaged.
Then we saw in Isaiah 11 at length the promise of the Messiah to come. We saw the attributes of the Messiah.
And as the chapter began to close out, Isaiah is putting warnings to the nation.
Then Isaiah 12, Isaiah is preaching/ prophecying the news and reality just hits Isaiah like a wave.
Reality-- Isaiah now looks way ahead into the future from his day. 3000 years ago from tonight.
He sees what the Millenial Kingdom is going to be like in part. But this part is going to be the theme of the 1000 year reign of Christ.
The Bible teaches that Jesus Christ will literally reign on earth for 1000 years.
Not only is this teaching Biblical, but it is neglected today. There are many denominations not teaching this anymore.
