Welcome back to Bible Chapter by Chapter, where we walk carefully and faithfully through God’s Word, one chapter at a time.
In Luke Chapter 10, the mission of Jesus expands beyond the twelve as He appoints seventy others and sends them out two by two. This chapter shows the kingdom of God moving outward through ordinary people who are called to depend on God, carry peace, and proclaim that the kingdom has come near.
We also hear one of Jesus’ most well-known teachings, the Parable of the Good Samaritan, where love is defined not by boundaries, status, or convenience, but by mercy that acts. Finally, the chapter closes with Mary and Martha, reminding us that discipleship begins with attentiveness to Christ, and that presence with Jesus matters more than anxious productivity.
In this episode, we read Luke 10 (World English Bible), then walk through each section with clear explanation, Scripture connections, and practical reflection for everyday faith.
