In His boundless treasures of love and grace God has freely gifted every person with the same amount of time. We each have 60 seconds in every minute, 60 minutes in every hour, 24 hours in every day, 7 days in every week, and 168 hours in every seven-day period. But if we all have an equal amount of time, why does one person accomplish so much more in life than another person- The answer lies in the fact that some people work their time, while others waste their time Some sit around counting their time, while others make their time count. Today's message provides God's secret for making our time count for the good of others and the gory of God

Few Christians faithfully budget their money, and even fewer budget their time. We spend more time squandering time than investing time. God does not call His children to sit idle and count their time, but to stand actively and make their time count. To do so we must learn to number our days in such a way as to work them rather than waste them.

The Stewardship of time begins in the mind. Before we treat time properly, we must think of time properly. How we think about time determines what we believe about time What believe about time determines how we live out our time. If we have a SECULAR or WORLDLY view of time we will waste time. If we have a SACRED or Word view of time, we will work time so as to make every second count. Being a faithful steward of time begins with a -TIME THEOLOGY-- Time Theology is thinking God's thoughts about Time. God's thoughts of Time place time under the sacred sphere of God's sovereignty.

In 1865 the hymn writer, William Dix, wrote a now famous Christmas Carol asking the question, -What Child is This-- Today that question remains the most important question that a person can ask and answer. This Christmas we all need to answer the question, -WHAT CHILD IS THIS-- Scripture alone gives us the answer in -6- short points-

The purpose of such a re-visitation is to refocus upon, and to rededicate to God's mission and ministry for BFF in such a way that we faithfully hit the mark for the good of every Family and the glory of the Father.

The birth of Jesus Christ was not a reaction to Adam's sin, but an eternal preparation in lieu of Adam's sin. The fact that Jesus came into the world WHEN He did, WHERE He did, WHY He did, and the WAY He did, positively proves the sovereignty of God's Person and Program. Since Jesus was God's eternal Solution to the problem of sin, then sin itself had to be part of the eternal plan. Jesus proves that God planned for life before death even came, because death was planned also. But was Jesus really God's ETERNALLY prescribe solution-

Christmas has suffered such secularization that Christ Himself has largely been forgotten. But there remains one group that is forgotten even beyond Christ Himself. These are the hundreds of thousands of Christians who are this very hour suffering in the isolation and cruelty of prisons and work camps throughout the world of Communism, Islam, Buddhism, Hinduism, and even Romanism. These are our brothers and sisters in the faith whom we are commanded to REMEMBER and this message aims at bringing them back to our minds lest we never forget.

In all SPIRITUAL Sacrifices -Lip Service- must become -Life Service.- Biblical Thanksgiving must move from SPIRITUAL to SOCIAL sacrifice. As a Covenant Community we are called to offer spiritual sacrifices with our lips and social sacrifices with our lives. As the spiritual translates to the social our lip service becomes life service. Without the living service of social sacrifices our spiritual sacrifices become meaningless dead lip service.
