The Father demands that all recognize and reverence His Sovereign Government over all. In support of this demand He shall demonstrate His governmental supremacy through a series of all encompassing final eschatological judgments whereby His government is fully exercised and expressed upon Gentiles, Jews, Believers, Sinners, and even Angels. Today we consider one of the most amazing teachings of Sacred Writ, the judgment of Angels.

Regarding the BEMA SEAT of Christ we have now examined the first six aspects of Biblical Revelation- 1- Its Parallels, 2- Its Passages, 3- Its Potentate, 4- Its Peoples, 5- Its Period, and 6- Its Place. Today as we conclude our consideration of our personal date with destiny, we turn our attention to the last three points of Scripture on the Judgment of Believers.

A careful contemplation of Chronicles yields transforming truths of Biblical Thanksgiving. In like manner the Minor Prophets provide messages moving us to yet deeper Thanksgiving truths to apply in our life.

Holy Scripture and Historic Christianity confesses and confirms that God the Father is both GREAT and GOOD- and that His GREATNESS and GOODNESS are expressed as He Governs the ages and affairs of all men. God's sovereign GOVERNMENT exercises itself throughout various dispensations of divine dealings according to the good pleasure of His will and in compliance with His unfolding Revelation in the person of Jesus Christ. The Father's GOVERNMENT over humanity now assumes the spotlight in Paul's preaching.

Biblical Christianity and Historical Orthodoxy has always believed and confessed that God the Father is GREAT, and God the Father is GOOD. We have all heard the prayer -God is GREAT and God is GOOD-- Having proclaimed the greatness of the Father in that He is Creator, Lord, Transcendent, Self-existent, Self-sufficient, and Imminent- Paul now turns to a proclamation of the Father's goodness to the entire human race---

The 3rd apocalyptic exercise of God's governmental sovereignty will be expressed in the Judgment of the Believer. Today we consider the sixth biblical feature concerning every Christian's destiny with judgment.

What was -Jesus Christ- doing BEFORE. His birth- This is a vitally important, but often unexplored question. In His eternal pre-existence the Word-Son eternally enjoyed rich personal experiences WITH the Father. These eternal experiences are recorded in the inspired text of Scripture by the Holy Spirit and constitute cardinal confession of the Christian Faith which every true believer should not only believe, but seek to apply in their own daily experiences with the Father as imitators of Jesus.

While the God-Man, Jesus Christ, is not eternal having become flesh in Bethlehem in space-time-history, the Divine Person who became the God-Man Jesus Christ. Thus sacred Scripture and historic Christianity recognize and confess that Jesus of Nazareth is the Divine Word-Son incarnate, eternally pre-exiting His miraculous conception and virgin birth into human existence at God's appointed time. In His eternal existence He was the Word-Son- His eternal existence constitutes cardinal doctrine of Christianity---

Most Christians miss the true celebration of being chosen by God because they fall prey to Satan's schemes whereby he makes our being chosen a truth to be denied or debated as opposed to being celebrated. God wills that we celebrate being chosen-

The Reformation cannot be rightly remembered or respected apart from understanding the message that prompted the Reformers in the first place. The message behind the Reformation was the Gospel according to Rome. It was the Roman Gospel that prompted the protestation of the Protestants.
