Christmas is an on-going historical account of God's sovereign rule throughout the ages. It is the grand and glorious story of the Sovereign Triune God's will willingness, and work to redeem those whom He had eternally covenanted within Himself to redeem. This story of Sovereign Triunity willing and working for the redemption of His elect is revealed through -8- eight dramatic scenes through the inspired pen of the apostle Paul.--NOTE- Christmas is not merely a past looking to the Incarnation of Jesus Christ, but a present living of the Incarnation of Jesus Christ by walking in the power and person of the Holy Spirit today. Christmas is a present and personal celebration of the exaltation of the Son back to the Father's right hand both Lord and Christ, and the coming of the Spirit to show and seal our Sonship that we might live in the VICTORY of a Triune Godhead-

Christmas is the will, willingness, and work of the Triune God The person of God the Father co-equally and co-eternally was the One who willed Christmas. The person of God the Son co-equally and co-eternally was the One who was willing to perform the will of Christmas. And the person of God the Holy Spirit co-equally and co-eternally was the One who personally and perfectly worked out the will of the Father through the willingness of the Son. The Father was the Architect of Christmas. The Son was the Actor in Christmas. And the Spirit was the Agent behind Christmas. From Christ's conception to His cross, and from Christ's tomb to His throne- it was the Holy Spirit who worked in and through Jesus to perform Christmas.

Within the co-equal and co-eternal covenant communications of the Godhead concerning the plan and purpose of the Incarnation, God the Father eternally occupies the place as the One who WILLED Christmas, while God the Son eternally assumes the place as the One whose submissive WILLINGNESS carries out that perfect will- Today we turn the sacred spotlight of Scripture upon the Son's willingness to submissively humble Himself and incarnate in order to personally and perfectly fulfill His Father's will at Christmas-

Christmas is not only part of God's will, it is the pinnacle of God's will. Jesus was not a spontaneous reaction to Adam's fall, but the sovereign remedy for Adam's fall. Christmas is the perfect orchestration and outworking of the Father's eternal will in space-time history for the salvation of His own-
