Salvation is a mystery that should prompt wonder and worship in the head, heart, and hands of God's elect people. Modern theology has reduced salvation to a man-made concept void of wonder and worship. The Church needs to rediscover the mystery of Salvation so as to revive its wonder and its worship. Today's text reveals three reasons behind the mystery of salvation---NOTE- Salvation is a mystery because the extent of salvation is NOT universal or inclusive. True salvation is limited and exclusive. Salvation extends ONLY to those who believe upon Christ in such a way as to personally receive Christ by grace through faith---NOTE- Salvation is a mystery because its effect is a new right rooted in a new relationship. Salvation produces a new authority to engage in a new association with the Triune God while living among those who have no right or relationship.--NOTE- Salvation is a mystery because it is exercised only through a new birth wrought through a new creation into spiritual life. Because this new life is purely spiritual, dependent upon a work of new creation known as regeneration, it can only be exercised by the will and work of a Sovereign Lord- Man could never work salvation if he would, nor would he work salvation if he could. Salvation is of the LORD- The saved should therefore WONDER and WORSHIP---

SERMON THESIS- Women should bow their knee and thank God for Jesus- Christianity should be the faith of choice for women because Jesus Christ has done more for women than any other person. Jesus' favor and friendship to women is vividly seen by exploring the data of history and Scripture.--Prior to Jesus women were mere chattel. They were deemed far less than men. They were often treated as household property, placed below slaves, oxen, and donkeys. They were considered unfit to bear testimony in civil and religious life. They were sexually devalued and degraded, and denied the opportunities of education, social involvement. They were less than second class citizens. Void of rights, a man could divorce his wife for burning his biscuits. -Jesus would graciously engage and evangelize women which was a radical and revolutionary reality- His mission was to elevate them through salvation.--Jesus's way was to always mercifully esteem and elevate women- This was true even of the outcast and ostracized women. Christ was counter culture---CONCLUSION- What a Friend, women have in JESUS---

Sufficient data has now become available so every critically thinking Christian can decipher the data and draw sound and sober deductions. The whole world-system is easily MANIPULATED - 1 Tim. 4-1-VI. The whole world-system is ripe for DECEPTION - Rev. 12-9a-VII. Deception is packaged in SCIENCE falsely so called - 1 Tim. 6-20 -VIII. Pseudo-Science is willing to CENSOR true Science - Rm. 1-18-IX. America's LIBERTIES are fragile and fleeting - -QUOTE--X. Americans prefer personal safety over LIBERTY - -QUOTE--XI. America is rapidly forsaking her national GOODNESS - -QUOTE--XII. The Church and Christians are NON-ESSENTIAL-XIII. American Christians stand at the brink of PERSECUTION

Covid-19 forces every Christian to ask, -How should we then live-- As we face an ever changing and uncertain future brought about by alien pandemics and abusive powers, our chief question is, -How should we then live-- How should we live as citizens and as Christians- How should we live in this world while belonging to another world- Today's message answers this question by turning to the Sole and Supreme Expert on balanced living - the Lord Jesus---NOTE- Jesus teaches that a balanced Christian life means two things- 1- As good citizens we recognize and respect our human leaders by rendering unto them what God has sovereignly appointed for them as leaders. No more, and no less- 2- As good Christians we recognize and reverence our heavenly Lord by rendering unto Him, and to Him alone, what God has sovereignly reserved for Himself as Lord--How should we then live-- As Image-Bearers of God---

Covid-19 has rapidly morphed from a pandemic into a ploy by leftists liberal Governors to set themselves in array against God. God declares that Church is essential. Governors defy God by declaring Church non-essential. In doing so America's godless governors stand in arrogant opposition to both the Bible and the Bill of Rights- A glaring example of this widespread godless arrogance took place on Wednesday evening, 15 April, whenTucker Carlson interviewed Phil Murphy, the Governor of New Jersey. After affirming his disregard for both the Church and the Constitution, Governor Murphy went on to explain his autocratic reasoning as to why Liquor Stores are more essential to mental and emotional well-being than is the Church- So, whose right, Almighty God, or America's godless Governors- Is Church non-essential or is it essential- For an answer we will look to two sources - the Bible and the Bill of Rights.

SERMON THESIS- The resurrection of Jesus Christ is the cornerstone of Christianity. The entire Christian faith stands or falls on the resurrection of Jesus Christ. If Christ did not rise from the dead then He was fake and Christianity is a fable. Jesus' resurrection substantiates His words and works, and gives meaning to the Christian message. So, what does Jesus' resurrection really mean---I. It means that Jesus is RISEN - Lk. 24-3-6a-II. It means that Jesus is REDEEMER - Jn. 14-19- 1 Cor. 15-14 -III. It means that Jesus is REIGNING - Ac. 2-36-IV. It means that Jesus is RETURNING - Ac. 1-9-11-V. It means that Jesus is to be REMEMBERED - Lk. 24-6b-8--CONCLUSION- The Risen Christ has returned to the right hand of His Father andis preparing a place for us. At the Father's appointed hour Jesus shall return for us to bring us unto Himself in resurrection power. Until that time, we are to ever be remembering His death, burial, and resurrection. To help us remember, Jesus left two sacred ordinances for the Church to observe - Believer's Baptism and Holy Communion. On this Resurrection Sunday we join together to remember Jesus' life, death, resurrection, and return through the Lord's Supper. As we share this holy communion may we ever remember these words, -For as often as you eat thisbread, and drink this cup, ye do shew the Lord's death till he come- -1 Cor. 11-26--

SERMON THESIS- God is God and as God He is too sovereign to be shy about acknowledging His providential power over, and purpose in each and every event of life. This is true in the good times as well as in the bad times- The God of the mountain is also God of the valley. The God of the day is also God of the night. The God of the sunshine is also God of the storms. And the God behind peace and prosperity is also the God behind the plagues and pandemics---NOTE- God deals with humanity based upon the -LAW OF RELATIONSHIP-- This law states that relationship results in responsibility and accountability. The closer the relationship the greater the responsibility and correction---NOTE- God is, and He is not silent- He is ever speaking but few are listening. Periodically Providence roars. When He does, the whole world is forced face the sound of Sovereign severity- When mankind forsakes God's Word, they must face God's Whip- If we reject His Revelation, we will receive His Retribution- This is never because God hates us, on the contrary, it is because He loves us with a love that refuses to let us be less than we were created to be- God's correction issues from the flowing stream of Divine love and moves us to fear Him-

Christians are IN the world but not OF the world. We face the same perils, plights, and pandemics that the world faces. But we face them differently. While the world flounders, frets and fears, we remain fixed, focused and fearless. As the world looks around with wonder and worry, we look up with worship- In the midst of the pandemic we should be fearless, faithful, and fruitful because we know WHO and WHAT our pandemic protection really is---APPLICATIONS- Our protection which allows us to face the perils and pandemics of life fearlessly, faithfully, and fruitfully is this--1. God knows us and He knows our every need-2. God is with us and will never leave us or forsake us-3. God promises to bring us through the floods and flames of life-4. God is too great to be paralyzed by dangers and difficulties-5. God is too good to be purposeless in dangers and difficulties-6. God's power will preserve us in and through the most extreme dangers

SERMON THESIS- Today America and the World are halted by COVID 19- The Pandemic that president Trump coins, -The Invisible Enemy- has single handedly paralyzed humanity. Man's frailty and vulnerability have been laid bare for all to see. And yet, few see the PANDEMIC within the pandemic- Coronavirus has revealed a much graver, more sinister, invisible virus within mankind. It has manifested a sickness within man's very soul- the inability to live in stillness, silence, and solitude- In the short span of -3- days the rise of depression and mentalillness have skyrocketed as man is forced to stop and become still. With life's chaos, chatter, and clutter silenced, the noise has been muted, and man is faced with God and self. Silence, stillness, and seclusion, are forcing man to face himself, and live with himself. The average man is discovering that he is not safe or secure in his own skin- God wills for man to be so secure with His Creator and with his own Creatureliness that he can embrace the stillness, the silence, and solitude.--APPLICATION- He who cannot embrace stillness is sick. He who cannot embrace silence is sick. He who cannot embrace solitude is sick. The whole and healthy man not only embraces stillness, silence, and solitude- but is improved by them- May God heal us from the PANDEMIC in the pandemic-

SERMON THESIS- Marriage is a sacred institution because it is the decree and design of the Creator, not the Culture. God invented, initiated, and instituted marriage as a sacred Covenant Union between one man and one woman for life. In this Covenant Union God ordained that husbands and wives should enjoy Covenant Communion through a relationship rooted in providentially prescribed roles and responsibilities. Marital roles and responsibilities are Creational not Cultural, because they were established by the Creator Himself. The wife's role and responsibilities form the focus of today's message---I.
