Erik: For as much as I want to believe this, I am still not yet convinced that the Biblical evidence is sufficient. I have heard you mention the translation in Genesis as reading “in ruins”, and then using that to say that it must have been a prior civilization that was “in ruins”. I’m not saying that is not a valid assumption, but I’m wondering if you could possibly expand on that? Is there more evidence for this? Maybe there is room for another podcast to expand on this? I want to believe this and be able to present a relatively sound case for this amongst my family and peers. This whole concept makes the “Old Testament” God a whole lot less scary… and I think that’s important.
Paula: Do you believe in the pretribulation rapture?
Murray: I am trying to understand how the fallen angels who were all created by God and not birthed as humans are can have seed that is compatible with a human female egg. It is my understanding that angels do not marry and there is little evidence that angels would have genitalia like humans.
Emily: Do you know anything about the dark matter they're creating in Switzerland? This would end up tying in well to Paul Wallis’s theory of ufos prior to us populating earth... I just found this and am going to do more research about CERN but I'd love to know what you know.
Leanna: First question I have is when were the Angles created? I have always thought they were created well before earth but I have ran into others that are saying they were created day 2 or 3 our known creation.

Stanley: As a fellow lay Bible believer I really harmonized with your explanations of what the prophecies mean in relation to current and future events. However, you lost credibility when you chickened out of answering the caller’s challenge to the “Rapture” by saying you didn’t argue doctrine.
I am curious to know exactly where you first heard and espoused the concept which I view as being used to eclipse the great and glorious Second Coming of Christ
Joey: I keep hearing other preachers bring up the temptation of Jesus. Sure if he (Satan) could not fulfill the offer of all the kingdoms it would not have been much a temptation. I agree with that wholeheartedly. But here is the thing...... Jesus was fully man and fully God Almighty!.... Tempting Jesus with kingdoms on earth is akin to tempting a crawfish farmer with 5lbs of crawfish!.... It just doesn't wash!..... Something is missing here..... To temp God with a few kingdoms on an earth that he created is no temptation! Not to mention that being tempted by a being that he created in the first place is almost laughable to me!....... So what am I missing here pastor Scott?

Episode 74: Transhumanism
Show Notes: transhumanism, social and philosophical movement devoted to promoting the research and development of robust human-enhancement technologies. Such technologies would augment or increase human sensory reception, emotive ability, or cognitive capacity as well as radically improve human health and extend human life spans. Such modifications resulting from the addition of biological or physical technologies would be more or less permanent and integrated into the human body.
The movement has evolved since its beginnings as a loose association of groups dedicated to “extropianism” (a philosophy devoted to the transcendence of human limits). Transhumanism is principally divided between adherents of two visions of post-humanity—one in which technological and genetic improvements have created a distinct species of radically enhanced humans and the other in which greater-than-human machine intelligence emerges.
The second strain of transhumanism holds a contrasting view, that social institutions (such as religion, traditional notions of marriage and child rearing, and Western perspectives of freedom) not only can influence the trajectory of technological development but could ultimately retard or halt it.
“It is their belief that we can and should eradicate aging as a cause of death; that we can and should use technology to augment our bodies and our minds; that we can and should merge with machines, remaking ourselves, finally, in the image of our own higher ideals.” ~Mark O’Connell in his book To Be a Machine

Takeaway: Man was not created to die, but to live forever with God the Father. Death entered in as a result of rebellion and sin, but God offered a way for mankind to come back to Him and be a part of His eternal family! The elites don’t want to access eternal life through the Son of God, so they are trying to make their own version of “eternal life.” But the end thereof is death!

The Greek and Latin words corresponding to "crucifixion" applied to many different forms of painful execution, including being impaled on a stake, or affixed to a tree, upright pole (a crux simplex), or (most famous now) to a combination of an upright (in Latin, stipes) and a crossbeam (in Latin, patibulum). Seneca the Younger wrote: "I see crosses there, not just of one kind but made in many different ways: some have their victims with head down to the ground; some impale their private parts; others stretch out their arms on the gibbet".
In some cases, the condemned was forced to carry the crossbeam to the place of execution. A whole cross would weigh well over 135 kg (300 lb), but the crossbeam would not be as burdensome, weighing around 45 kg (100 lb)

Takeaway:
It is best to always let Scripture interpret Scripture to get a Bible understanding, even when the subject has been ingrained in our minds historically as a certain thing. We have come to visualize the Crucifix as the picture of the cross with two other crosses for the other malefactors. But perhaps Jesus was nailed to a tree, as the Bible says, and the other two were on His left and right side on the same tree! Prayerfully consider it.

Echoing human security principles, the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development emphasizes a “world free of poverty, hunger, disease and want … free of fear and violence … with equitable and universal access to quality education, health care and social protection … to safe drinking water and sanitation … where food is sufficient, safe, affordable and nutritious … where habits are safe, resilient and sustainable … and where there is universal access to affordable, reliable and sustainable energy.”
It calls for development strategies that result in resilient societies where people are safe from chronic threats such as abject poverty, hunger, disease, violence and repression, and protected from sudden and hurtful disruptions in their daily lives.
The World Economic Forum was founded by Klaus Schwab in 1971
It is a rebranding of Agenda 21 by the United Nations and has 9 basic tenants:
Move Citizens off private land and into urban housing.
Create vast wilderness spaces inhabited by large carnivores.
Eliminate cars and create “walkable” cities.
Support chosen private businesses with public funds for “sustainable development
Make policy decisions that favor the “greater good” over individuals.
Drastically reduce the use of power, water, and anything else that creates “carbon pollution.”
Use bureaucracies to make sweeping decisions outside of democratic processes.
Increase taxes, fees, and regulations.
Implement policies meant to incentivize a reduced population. ent.”
