  • Five Coming Spiritual Tsunamis
Marquis Laughlin looks at five things Jesus predicted the Church would experience just prior to His return.  Shockingly and soberly, each one of them is something believers will have to endure prior to the reign of the Antichrist. Marquis explains how all five of these “spiritual tsunamis are now on our horizon and suggests how you can prepare to navigate them and be an overcomer.

  • The Real Reason the USA Isn’t Found in Bible Prophecy: We’ve Been Looking at Prophecy All Wrong
Nelson Walters discusses the real reason that the United States isn’t found in Bible Prophecy. The reason is shocking. It’s because we all, Nelson included, have been looking at endtime prophecy all wrong.
Why isn't the superpower, the USA, the mightiest and richest nation in the world, mentioned directly in Bible prophecy? If you want to find the USA individually mentioned, you have to really stretch your imagination to find it. And that is what most Bible scholars have historically done.
But in this episode, Nelson doesn’t focus on little tiny aspects based on a verse here or there but looks at the big picture. And when you do that, the role of the USA jumps into focus.

  • The End Time Church: The Best of Times, The Worst of Times (Part 2)
Jake McCandless continues from his previous episode in which he shared a comparison using Charles Dickens’ famous quote from A Tale of Two Cities, about the best of times and the worst of times during pre-revolution London and Paris, with the end-of-the-age Church.
Scripture gives many details of the Church at the end of the age, most of which is heart-breaking and negative. But during such desperate times the Church rises to new heights. Jake calls these heights a second heroic age of the Church. Jake walks through two passages that express this double-edged sword of the Church at the end of the age.
In Revelation 6:9-11, followers of Christ are described as being slain; but in that same passage, the heroics of a Church maintaining their testimony and standing firm in such a time is celebrated.
The same dichotomy is seen in Daniel 12:1-3, where it is said that the greatest distress to hit the world will happen at the end of the age, but in the same breath there will be wise followers of Christ that will lead many to righteousness.
Jake shares that the Lord is preparing those wise ones now. He also exhorts that a faithful and powerful remnant should be expected, over a massive revival at the end of the age.

  • What does it mean to Worship the Beast?
Bob Hunt, from Zion's Hope, takes a look at Revelation 13:1-4 and considers what it means to “Worship the Beast”. What will it look like? Who or what is the world worshipping?
Bob begins by building a profile of what or who the Beast is. He will pull at least eight characteristics or points from this Scripture text that will help define who or what this beast is.
Finally, he will discuss how and why the world will come to worship the Beast. If the Beast is so evil, why will the world worship the Beast?
The world is being prepared for the Beast's rising. Our current culture will open its arms to this beast, follow him, and worship him  - all the while being totally deceived. No wonder Jesus in Matthew 24 kept repeating, “Do not be deceived.”
As Christians we need to be prepared to know the truth and share the truth, with a world prepared to fall for the lie.

  • Is There Such a Thing as a Tribulation Saint?
Nelson Walters asks the pointed question, “Is there such a thing as a ‘tribulation saint’?”
It depends on what the term “tribulation saint” means. There are obviously saints in the Tribulation, also known as the 70th Week of Daniel, but how do they get there? What happens to them? And how does this apply to you and me today?
Listen to today's episode, as Bible Teacher Nelson Walters presents this thoughtful consideration.

  • The End Time Church: The Best of Times, The Worst of Times (Part 1)
Jake McCandless provides a compelling comparison using Charles Dickens' famous quote from A Tale of Two Cities, about the best of times and the worst of times during pre-revolution London and Paris, with the end-of-the-age Church.
Throughout his Stand Firm events and teachings, Jake often quotes that the Bible gives a detailed picture of the church at the end of the age. Most of that picture is heart-breaking, as Scripture warns of many who turn away from the Faith; but in the middle of such devastating passages there are prophecies of the Church being what it truly should be.
Jake walks through a passage that contains both sides of this double edge sword of the end-time Church. In Matthew 24:9-14, one can find the worst news about the Church and its ultimate accomplishment. This dichotomy of the end-of-the-age Church is worded explicitly in Scripture, but it has also manifested itself throughout history as the Church has been persecuted.
