  • Prophetic Lessons from Covid: “There Won’t Be Daily Reminders”
Jake McCandless continues his series, "Prophetic Lessons from Covid". In this series Jake reflects on the Covid-19 pandemic and the faith-fallout with it, seeing it as a “test run” or “shot across the bow”. For those tracking in Bible prophecy before the pandemic, they had the unique experience of being warned, being called to try to warn, and then seeing it come to pass in some way. Very few prophetic voices have been able to see such a hint of what they were warned about come to pass. It’s time we reflect on the possible prophetic lessons from that time.
What lessons can be learned prophetically from Covid?
Though God guides us through His Word and the direction of the Holy Spirit, He doesn’t stay on our cases. We need to learn that we are to step forward courageously in obedience even in silence. Watchmen need to learn that God will not hammer them with daily reminders, but that doesn’t mean He has changed His mind or voided their calling.

  • Christ: Yesterday, Today, and Forever (Part 3) – The Visible Manifestation of God Seen in the Son
Michael Ufferman, a Zion’s Hope teaching staff member, continues his series of messages entitled: “Christ: Yesterday, Today, and Forever”. In this part 3, he shows how Scripture is very clear that, though it says “no man has seen God”, Abraham did see God.
This is when God’s triune, three-in-one nature becomes important. Nobody has seen God, the Father, but the visible manifestation of God is seen in God, the Son. Before Christ was born to Mary, His pre-incarnate being was seen as the “Angel of the Lord”. The series continues in Part 4.

  • 3 More Reasons to Study End-Times Bible Prophecy
Holly Pivec shares three more reasons why knowing the Bible’s End-Times prophecies is important. In her previous episode, Holly explained the first three reasons.
To learn more about the New Apostolic Reformation ("NAR") movement, which has many extreme and unbiblical teachings about the end times, see Holly’s co-authored book, Counterfeit Kingdom: The Dangers of New Revelation, New Prophets, and New Age Practices in the Church.

  • Be Faithful to Christian Virtues
Ron Wallace teaches that Jesus exhorted the disciples and, by application, all believers concerning the importance of being faithful to Christian virtues.
In view of any hardship, suffering or persecution - not only at this present time in our lives - but even more so during the time of the future Great Tribulation,
prayerful trust in God's character and plan will prepare the believer to stand before the Lord with confidence and not be ashamed when He returns!

  • How Long Is the Wrath of God?
Nelson Walters takes on the unusual question of how long the wrath of God is and when, during the 70th Week of Daniel Jesus returns.
The vast majority of Christians believe the wrath of God is either the entire 7 years of the 70th Week or, conversely, only the final day. These Christians fall into the camps of "Pretribulationalism" or "Post-tribulatiionalism".
The Pre-wrath position is closer to the right answer, but the vast majority of believers are unaware of the timing of God's wrath, only saying it happens within the last half of the 70th Week.
In this podcast, Bible Teacher Nelson Walters provides proof from the timetable of the Flood of Noah, 3 passages from Isaiah, the structure of the 70th Week itself, and the Jubilee cycles all helping to pinpoint the likely start of the wrath of God.

Dr. Alan Kurschner described a helpful approach to studying the doctrine of the second coming. The books of the Bible have been progressively revealed to God's people in history with the book of Revelation as the very last book that was written to complete the Bible. So, instead of starting with the book of Revelation, he suggests starting with key biblical prophecy passages in the book of Daniel, Jesus's Olivet Discourse, and Paul's Thessalonian epistles.
Accordingly, it is best to begin with Daniel, giving us a temporal context. Then, one should move next to Jesus's teaching in the Olivet Discourse in Matthew 24, Mark 13, and Luke 21, where Jesus gives us a concrete outline of the events surrounding his second coming. Next, one should move to both of the Thessalonian epistles, where Paul further describes the second coming. Finally, concluding with the book of Revelation is best, which fills in the details. In addition, while working through Jesus, Paul, and Book of Revelation, one can draw from the Old Testament prophets, such as Joel, Zephaniah, and others.
Having worked through this procedure, the student of prophecy will be in a good position with this background to make sense of the book of Revelation.
The following stages of building a house are the same in studying the second coming doctrine.
    Daniel – The Foundation
    Jesus – The Framework
    Paul – The Facilities
    Revelation – The Furnishing

  • Christ: Yesterday, Today, and Forever (Part 2) – The Nature & Purpose of the Son of God
Michael Ufferman, a Zion’s Hope teaching staff member, continues his series of messages entitled: “Christ: Yesterday, Today, and Forever”. In this part 2 of his series, Michael discusses the nature of the Son of God and His purpose to bear witness of God. As such, Michael shows biblical proof of Christ’s pre-existence of God’s creative act, which confirms Christ is God, and how He transcended time to bear witness of God to the likes of Abram/Abraham and others.

  • Next Issue of Biblical Prophecy Magazine; and Prophecies about Peter Taking Place Before the Rapture
Dr. Alan Kurschner announced the next issue of Biblical Prophecy Magazine briefly discussing the new articles in the magazine, Janet Willis's article on New Jerusalem and his own article on prophecies before the rapture. He then read an excerpt from his article on the prophecy Jesus made about Peter that must take place before the rapture, which undermines pretribulation imminence theology.

  • Examining the Foundations of Pretribulation Theology – Interview Part 1
This special podcast includes Zion’s Hope President David Rosenthal as he interviews Dr. Alan Kurschner, director of Eschatos Ministries and author of Pretrib: Examining the Foundations of Pretribulation Theology. In this insightful discussion, Dr. Kurschner refutes several foundational premises (or suppositions) upon which Pretrib Rapturism is grounded, including the claim that God does not work with the Church and Israel at the same time. Kurschner counters with several biblical examples showing that God does work with both simultaneously, and will do so again at the Rapture.
