Bible Unbound seeks to make sense of this awesome epic and it being such an awesome epic, we thought we would share the story how it is meant to be told: by hearing it! So grab some popcorn, some coffee, and get comfy because this week is Storytime with Austin: The Old Testament.

Bible Unbound seeks to make sense of the transcendant awesome epic of Scripture. So it makes sense that we would start in the beginning! Before we can run let's learn to walk by going over how the Old Testament came together and what comprises the Old Testament. Find our resources in the Show Notes.

Have you ever come against someone who just seems to have all the right answers pulled straight from scripture? Well sometimes those people can be crazy. Some Christians even use the Bible to justify the idea that Jesus is not God! It's called the Kenosis Theory and yes, a foundational belief to the Christian worldview seems to be contradicted right in the pages of the Bible. Join us on this episode of Bible Unbound as we explore how to interpret the Bible!

The Bible is an awesome and transcendent epic that has spanned generations, cultures, and continents. It has flipped the world upside down and literally split time in half. The Bible is the most influential book in all of human history. But how the heck do we even read this thing!? It's so old. It's so long! Well join us as we dive in to episode 2.

Hello! Welcome to Bible Unbound. In this episode, Philip, my co-host and I (hi, I'm Austin) introduce ourselves and the podcast! Thank you so much for joining and checking out the series. We hope we can brighten your day while we explore this awesome, transcendent epic we call the Bible.

Your Bible pulsates with the kinetic energy of thousands of years, 66 books, 40 authors, 3 continents, 3 languages! It has space wizards, and dragons, and knights, and scientists, and detectives. It is a wild, wild epic. And it all tells the story of how the God that created it all is redeeming it back to Himself.

Your Bible is a whole universe waiting to be explored. So grab a cup of coffee, crack open your Bible, because we want to explore it together.

There are some really confusing things in your Bible that we want to make sense of, too. We don't have Bible degrees or think we're right about everything. We just have a love for this incredible transcendent epic.
