Pride is not just for upper classes or those whom have lot's of money, but there are some homeless people because they are too proud to lower themselves to work certain jobs. There are those whose condescending attitudes toward people cause them to be high-minded Pharisee's. It comes from Satan the father of Pride we all inherited with original sin.

In chapter 15 and 16 The Prophet tells of the desrtuction of Moab, which was mainly about the Pride of The Moabite. These characteristics are those of the unconverted, that don't crucify the flesh but hold on to the very thing that causes God to resist them, that is Pride. The very same people God would not allow Israel to inhabit their land, whom was very inhospitable to them.

We here have the Prophet speaking of the destruction of Moab, not in a callous way, but one of significant sorrow, sighing and mourning for them. These where people that are a part of the family line. It contaains those whom God said He would not give Israel any part of thier inheritance. I think we as a people have become all to insensitive to the plight of others.

God has allowed certain people and things to remain in the earth to help shape and form our character. The Philistines was left in the land to teach future generations how to fight, which required depending on and having faith in God -Jesus-. We have to learn to walk in obedience to His Word to overcome, and defeat them.

God has sworn an oath and purposed a plan for man, from the foundation of the world, and there's nothing that can hinder His plan and purpose. Being Sovereign God's Spirit continues to carry out HiAssyrias plan by the stated way His Word said He would accomplish it

God has spoken an oath, sworned to accomplish His plan according to His purpose written in His Word. After using the Assyrian to punish and scatter His people, then He will destroy them on the Mount of God. He will destroy the prod, haughty looks of man, as His plan to destroy the whole world

As God have created all men in His likeness and image, we all have tried to elevate ourselves above each other, as Satan promised some have he tried to be as God. To those high-minded proud, arrogant, self-seeking and self-serving they will return to dust no matter how high they exhort themselves. Only to those that humble themselves will He exalt to a heavenly position with Him.

If we are following Jesus example to do the Will of God. not our own, everything we do will be to the glory of God. It is not about self ambition, bring praise and honor to ourselves or being known by men. We have a purpose and mission after being born again, it is to be found pleasing in God's sight not aimed at pleasing man.

We see where we were all sold under sin, to death. In the representative man Adam we all where in bondage, that Jesus would have to die to redeem, to reconcile us back to God. Those of us that He chose would be given eternal life, regenerated, shaped and formed in His image and likeness through death to self. Within this process we would be called upon to mortify the deeds of the body.

Are we in the process of becoming Sons of God or fixed and fitted in as children of the Devil. The Devil, whom was a liar in the beginning and a murderer who abode not in the truth. Jesus told some of His day that they where of their father the Devil. It was because of their actions and the influences of their character that was alien from the commonwealth of God.
