Questions from Listeners #8 by Deaf-Preacher

All parents expect our children to grow up and mature into good adults. It takes effort on the parent's part to help the child do just that. The child has to want to grow up and mature as well. We feed our newborn babies milk as their bodies we start giving them solid foods.

Our Heavenly Father wants His children to grow and mature in a fruitful relationship. He wants all of His believers to get off milk and eat solid food spiritually. Digging deeper into His Words, we call the Bible. Deeper and more meaningful prayer life too.

Many of us look forward to retiring from our jobs in our golden years. Retiring is a dream for most people and being able to relax and do very litte. There is no such thing as a retirement in the Kingdom of God. Christ wants us to be fruitful for Him and spread the gospel until the day He returns or calls us home. We will talk in this podcast about being fruitful in our labor for the Kingdom of Christ.

In our podcast today, we will talk about the “Denial of God.” Many people do deny there is a God/Creator. However, the evidence is clearly around us of a Creator. There is nothing created by chance!

There are many different descriptions in today's world of what Christian should look like and talk about? The Apostle Peter gives us the Holy Spirit's description of a Christian. All those who profess to be Christians should know what the Holy Spirit says a Christian should look like! As we go thought this week's podcast, we pray all of us are reflecting the description provided by the Apostle.

We are all desires for wants in our lives. We might desire fancy foods, cars, a peaceful day, and the list could be endless! What about in our spiritual lives? Do we truly desire God and His will for us? In this podcast, we will discuss the need to "desire God."

Sin is an easy trap to fall into, just like an animal tricked into a trap by bait. Sin always looks good, smells good, and we start to overlook the dangers. Like an animal tricked into a trap by a hunter. The evil one baits his traps to make us believe we will not get caught in the trap. Before we know it, we are hooked and could perish. The only One who can release us from the trap before spiritual death is Christ. We pray you will enjoy this week's podcast and be sure to listen to previous recordings too.

Whenever we plan to go somewhere on a trip, we might use a map to find our way to the place we plan to visit. A roadmap helps us out when we are lost. Using roadmap is an important tool for those who drive for a living. Have you ever just opened a roadmap trying to figure out where you are on the map? I am sure most of us have a time or two. We are all on a spiritual journey too. God has placed us on a spiritual journey. We all need to use the Bible to help us and guide us along the narrow way. The Bible is the only roadmap a Christian can use to help them. God looks at His roadmap and looks to see if we are where we should be. This week's podcast is about, "where are we on God’s map?”

There are people in the church who have a vision for spreading the gospel and helping congregations grow. Then there are always those around who want to kill that vision. All the Apostles faced the same issue in their missions work. We need to overcome those who do not want to help and look to Christ to lead and help us spread the vision of Christ has for His church.
