Emily has experienced her fair share of church hurt and burnout. Yet through God’s faithfulness, has walked with Him through healing and restoration. Katie Turner is one of the most humble, genuine, kind, tenderhearted, and honest people you will ever meet. She is a talented artist, a homeschool mama of 6, a devoted wife, and a committed disciple of Christ. To be around her is to feel like you’re home, and she has touched the lives of so many people with the love of Christ (Mindi included!).

Yet her life did not always look like it does today. The church and culture are waging war on the issue of justice, especially when it comes to fairness, equity, and equality. So many opinions shaped by heightened emotions are being spewed from all sides, and it seems impossible not to get harmed in the crosshairs.

What are we, as Christians, supposed to do about it? First, we're supposed to define justice as God does in Scripture, then we are to have a proper expectation and pursuit of justice in this world, and finally, are to understand Jesus--how He is justice, how He exacted justice, and then how He didn't. At least, how He hasn't...yet.
