Sue goes first this week with the real fictional history of the World of Warcraft history. Mick reveals he knows a bit too much about a game he doesn't play. He also follows up with a Christian literature romance book and sings a song.

Mick gets a non-mysterious, non-romantic mystery romance, while Sue gets an aneurysm.

This episode, Mick reads Grimspace, a mystical adventure through wormholes and D&D encounters. Sue reads Dead Girls are Easy, and concocts an idea about just who author Terri Garey really is.

For our tenth episode, Mick and Susan get a little revenge, and give each other the worst book they've been forced to read so far. Susan loses track of the plot, but so did the author, and Mick gets grossed out.

Mick gets angry and almost refuses to participate, while Sue loves the endeavor. A dinosaur appears and is dealt with easily.

Mick and Susan travel to the exotic Des Moines to meet up with his brother and sister-in-law for a couples' challenge edition of the podcast. Mick and Sue both read Bear Meets Girl, an atrocious split-screen romance novel, while they read Kill 'Em With Cayenne, a novel about a nondescript Southern murder. Points of interest: Matt's first podcast, Mick is right about vocabulary, Susan has to finish the book.

We start off with a discussion of Sue's expert draft strategy, and then move into our terrifically awful books. We're back at it again as we slog to the finish line of another Terrible Book Exchange. Sue leads off with A Spider's Bite: An Elemental Assassin Book, which she didn't anything towards. Mick follows up with Sleeping With Beauty, a book about adults written by a person seemingly still in high school in every way.

Mick and Sue are back after a quick turn around to review "An Appetite for Murder," an overly-sweet murder mystery, and "Cover Me," the genre-bending hit of the year. Chewbacca and machine gun impressions follow.

Mick reads "Presidents and UFOs," an entire book about how nobody has managed to get evidence to back up all of this rambling. Susan reads "No Christmas Like the Present," a story either about heartwarming Christmas spirits or an insane man gaslighting and abusing a poor lonely woman. Either way, though, good literature. Things get a little drinky before a move.
