Big at the Back: A Fantasy Football Podcast (FPL)

Tom and Matt are back to discuss the events of an entertaining GW14. We discuss big wins for Arsenal who brushed aside Nottingham Forest, Newcastle, who trounced Aston Villa, and Leeds, who subjected Liverpool to yet another defeat.  

We discuss the key teams to target in the final two weeks before the World Cup break, and then finish by having a quick look ahead to the World Cup, and how we would like to see England line up in less than three weeks time!

With another two Gameweeks in the books since the last pod, Tom and Matt are back to discuss another great weekend of Premier League football.  

Liverpool disappointed again as they lost 1-0 to Nottingham Forest, Newcastle continued their good form as they won away at Spurs, and Man City closed the gap to Arsenal at the top of the league.  

We finish off by looking at our teams for GW14 and beyond as we head in to the last few weeks before the World Cup break!

GW10 is in the books, and it saw a whopping ten clean sheets across the weekend's fixtures, meaning Big at the Back is alive and well ladies and gentlemen.  

Tom and Matt are back to discuss all of the main talking points from a weekend which saw Arsenal extend their lead at the top of the table as Man City fell to a 1-0 defeat at Anfield with Salah back on the menu.

 Ivan Toney and Mason Mount each bagged a brace, and Dominic Solanke of all people continued his fine form!

GW10 is over and done to discuss our performances, and the exciting weekend of Premier League football.  

Arsenal beat Liverpool in a five goal thriller to remain top of the league, while Man City keep breathing down their neck despite Erling Haaland only scoring one goal!   

Newcastle continue their impressive attacking form, scoring five past Brentford, Graham Potter does his best Pep Guardiola impression by dropping half of his team in a 3-0 win over Wolves, and West Ham beat Fulham 3-1 with Scamacca and Bowen scoring in back to back PL games.  We finish off with our early thoughts before GW11 as we have both made early transfers ahead of the European fixtures!

Tom and Matt are back after a brilliant weekend of Premier League football to discuss our GW9 thoughts and performances.  Erling Haaland made it three hat-tricks in as many home league games, and he was joined by Phil Foden as Man City decimated their city rivals,  while Leandro Trossard also scored a hat-trick in Brighton's 3-3 draw with Liverpool.  

Arsenal remain top of the league after their 3-1 win in the North London Derby, and James Maddison turned on the style in Leicester's 4-0 hammering of Nottingham Forest.  

We discuss all of this and more before turning our attention to our GW10 teams!

We are back after a slightly reduced GW8 thanks to the Queen's funeral, but there are no shortage of talking points as we head in to the International Break.  

Join us as we discuss all seven games that went ahead, before taking a look at Matt's Wildcard which has now been activated!

Tom is back from the States and is joined by Matt as we discuss all the goings on in FPL. It's been a while since we had a chat so there's plenty to catch up on!   

We focus on the next few gameweeks as Tom has activated his Wildcard and look at the teams and players we think should be targeted in the coming weeks.

Tom and Matt are back after GW4 and (most of) 5 with lots to discuss, including back to back hat-tricks for Haaland, Salah blanking in a 9-0 Liverpool win, and Man United winning a game away from home!  

We then go through the majority of teams in the league and discuss whether they are a buy/hold/sell going in to the next few gameweeks, and finish off with our bus teams for GW6 this weekend.

Tom and Matt are back after a crazy GW3 which saw Man City drop points for the first time this season after a 3-3 draw with Newcastle, Chelsea capitulate to a 3-0 loss at Elland Road, and Man U get off the mark for the season beating Liverpool 2-1 on Monday night!   

We give a rundown of all of the fixtures, before looking ahead to our GW4 plans.

Tom and Matt are back after GW2 to discuss all of the main talking points including Brentford's battering of Manchester United, Liverpool drawing their second game in a row, and Gabriel Jesus opening Arsenal account in style against Leicester with two goals and two assists!   

We also discuss our FPL performances for the week, with an update on the BATB mini-league.
