  • Jon and Justin Talk Movie Remakes

Jon Henderson and Justin McGinnis, two passionate movie goers, took to the Big Boy Voices mic to dive deep into the controversial world of movie remakes and reboots. From the visually stunning and narratively complex Dune, which elevated Frank Herbert’s sci-fi epic for a new generation, to the slick and stylish Ocean’s Eleven, which transformed a 1960s Rat Pack heist flick into one of the coolest ensemble capers of the modern era, they explored the art of reinventing classic films.

Their discussion tackled the TV series-to-movie adaptation of The Fall Guy, which not only reimagines an 80s TV show but also pays homage to the world of Hollywood stunt performers. They also discussed the divisive nature of films like Disney’s endless live-action remakes—where nostalgia battles originality. Are reboots a lazy cash grab, or can they breathe new life into forgotten gems?

With sharp insights and a whole lot of movie love, Jon and Justin break down what makes a remake work, where Hollywood gets it wrong, and which films deserve a fresh take.

  • The Long Road. Conversation on a road trip!
Three friends embark on their annual cross-country motorcycle road trip. Take a listen to a conversation Jon, Marc, and Jason have on the deck of a motel called the Hill Top Hitching Post in Marion Montana we were fortunate enough to stumble over when everything else in the area was sold out.
The audio is kind of wonky as we used a different type of setup. But the cameo from local Montan dignitary Big Al Stone is pure gold. if you want to know what some fellas on a road trip yap it up about press play and enjoy.

  • Lets try to unbox the Cancel Culture.
In episode 12 of big boy voices, the boys explore the intricacies that are the recent trends in canceled culture. Who, what, where, and why are just some of the questions we pose. Is it virtue signaling, or does the movement have merit? We’re not sure we solve the problem. We’re 100% sure we didn’t! We added our two cents to the universe, had a couple of laughs, and ultimately ended just as confused as we started. Enjoy this episode. Remember to like, share, subscribe, and leave a review.
