Performing in public, F*ck!ng up and making a mistake,or breaking a comfort zone scares the hell out of most of us.
In this episode I throw some questions at Dimestore Skanks, a Wellington Ska band about what it feels like to do all of these and more.
Whether their music is your thing or not, they have some amazing insights on ignoring people’s labels, the importance of being with others and ‘getting out of your head’.
You can find out more about them at:

Alcohol, Booze, grog, sauce, the drink, the piss whatever name you want to call it. My relationship with it probably goes back to before I was even born, and it’s been a companion, associate, sometimes enemy and friend since then.
This is the first in a series of podcasts that detail my experiences and running battles with alcohol and how it’s shaped who I am.
In this episode, I’ll walk through the origins of being a socially accepted alcoholic and in later episodes I’ll cover some strategies that work for managing your drinking, ones that are designed to fail, and I’ll also have friends and family come onto the show and share their journeys with alcohol as well.
Man, i’ve had so many parenting fails i could write a book, or at least, a podcast. so today , you’re going to hear about this one I had a couple of days ago, and how i completely turned it around.
Today you’re going to hear about a strong childhood memory, a bucket list item I had, and what I think it feels like when a person's life flashes before their eyes.
And yes, they’re all related.
Spoiler alert:
After the podcast see if this stirs any memories (and yes, I'm showing my age on this one).

I left the 9 to 5 life because it made no sense for me to give 40-55 hours a week, my most productive hours no less, so I could have more money, more stuff, and more time with my family.
What? You might be thinking, isn’t that the goal?
Join me today to hear why I made this change and how you can benefit.
Blacking out, hospital toilets and controlled pain can be found in today's episode.
There's always a story when a person breaks their nose. There's rarely a story where a hospital toilet is destroyed shortly before the nose is rebroken. Or how the nose specialist resets it with no pain killers.
Of course, I have one of those stories

This is all about how I testified against my Dad in court, what led to it and the aftermath.
As you can imagine, it’s a bit of a tragic tale but, as with every single experience I’ve had, there’s silver linings everywhere and something for you to benefit from as well.

Suicide - it's our 2 degrees of separation.
In this episode, I share my experience of having a friend, brother, and man that I loved with all of my heart, commit suicide.
My story is one that will resonate with many people, too many in fact.
This episode however, speaks more to my heart than any other I’ve done and I hope it brings some value, inspiration or maybe a little perspective for you.
