It’s finally September, and the (g)hosts of the Big Scary Show are welcoming the official beginning of Halloween season. (Hey, we don’t make the rules) We celebrate it all year long of course, but it just feels like it’s finally here. The air may be a tad cooler, the leaves may start to have just a pinch of color, and haunted attractions are going to be opening in full force over the next few weeks. There’s a lot to do, so let’s get started.

Storm is ranting about Yeti Caskets in a Haunt Minute. Meathook Jim discusses Ethnic Cleansing in Between the Corpses. Badger reads the latest in Deadline News, and has some interviews from various cons he’s attended that didn’t make it onto the show the first time due to time constraints. The Old Crone talks about participating in community events. We might have a brand-new Gruesome Giveaway for September. And finally, we’re spinning some rockin’ tunes to celebrate the arrival of spooky season.

The Roundtable of Terror celebrates all those haunters that would rather build their own props and decorations rather than buying them. We bring in some experts of the DIY scene to talk about creating your own stuff from scratch. Now is the time to get those spooky projects started before October gets here, so get to work.
