going. After all, we’re only a month away from Krampus and Christmas haunted houses,

The Roundtable of Terror sits down with Alex from Hauntpay to discuss the state of the
haunt industry for the 2024 season. He’s been collecting data from haunt owners for
months about how they operate their haunts and now he’s here to discuss his findings.

are terrifying customers, clowns are running rampant, and the smell of chainsaw
exhaust is in the air. What a glorious time to be alive. Whether you’re heading down the
street to see your favorite yard display, going across town to visit a local haunt, or
traveling across the country to see the biggest and scariest attractions in the country, let

After all this time, October has finally gotten here and the (g)hosts of the Big Scary Show are absolutely giddy with excitement. Haunts are open and spooky season is in full force. But sadly, we must tarnish that giddiness with a bit of empathy for the victims of Hurricane Helene and the damage it’s caused to haunts in FL, GA, NC, and TN. We know many of them will recover, but sadly, some have already announced that they will not be opening this year. Please take a moment this season to remember that not everyone is able to get out and support their local attractions.
